Did you give Bush a 2nd term after he blew the ultimate moment on 9-12 by listening to Karl Rove's butt to take advantage of the unique moment by merely going for partisan gamesmanship than to do more good for the Nation/planet than even Jesus had the chance to. And then he lied the nation into total BS wars, but that's another horror story, just one more of the many MAJOR Bush fails. But Obama, yeah man, he's really bad...

I wasn't old enough to vote when Bush was up for reelection and he wasn't perfect. But that's when you assess the mistakes the previous president made and let the next president fix them (ideally). But you know reasoning has escaped you (not you personally) when you vote for a guy who is doing what he attacked the previous president of doing, only more of it. More wars, more spending, more debt, and an expansion of the size, scope, and power of government. Obama is change alright. He is change like an 400lb person gaining 100 more lbs is change.

I am sorry "progressives", but the American people already purchased the gym membership, now it's just a matter of getting you to actually go.

I myself am happy Obama got elected because as I have said many times throughout this thread,the only candidate then that believed in the constitution and is for the people was ron paul.

Both mccain and obama both voted to reinstate the patriot act.we already know mccain would have continued everything Bush got started.thats a no brainer.If mccain had been elected,they would have just said-well thats what happens when you get the republicans in office,they ruin america.

Now with Obama being elected and expanding and accelerating what Bush got started,people are now starting to understand both parties are corrupt and are waking up.People in chicago everywhere have signs with the jokers smile printed all over Obama calling him a traiter.I just hope people like the ignorant fools that came on here on that thread and said they would vote to relect Obama,wake the hell up someday.I just hope people start waking up before its too late.

I agree completely except for where you said that congress/government works for corporations. Not that I disagree with that statement, but I'd like to point out that they also are owned by banks and lobbyists.

I honestly don't know how these people can look themselves in the mirror and feel good about what they do.

Even worse, I don't know how the secret service can look themselves in the mirror and feel good about protecting these tyrants. You secret service are sell out losers who can lick my sack. My guess is you only do it for money and the power trip you feel, because you sure aren't serving your country.

To add to that, I have no idea what any conscious person would want to enlist in the armed forces today other than you are too lazy to work hard in the private sector and pay for your own education. Or you have been brainwashed and lied to by some sicko unethical recruiter. Because at this point in our countries life it is abundantly clear to me that those of you who are enlisted, or federal (and many times state too) government employees, are not protecting citizens nor serving your country. However, you are in fact protecting a group of sick and twisted monsters ability to continue to abuse their power and further destroy the USA. I hope the measly amount of devalued currency you get in return for helping to destroy the country you live in will be worth at the end of your life.

Now I consider myself liberal left, and Democrat, and I think that what the Democrat party has here is an imposter. And he is not a Republican plant either. I do not know exactly who Obama is working for,or what deal he has made, but it is clear that there is some SERIOUS effort being made probably in line with the Bilderberg infiltraters like T.Geithner, and Ben Bernanke. I got news for the Bilderbergs: They cannot hide anymore. The American people have got enough information, and have identified a lot of them now. We may be stupidsheep, but at least many seem to be awakening. Maybe someone has infiltrated the Bilderberg meetings and will release a video soon exposing ALL the rats.

That suggests the Rights, Protections, Immunities and Government-Limitations are "not valid" today.

The original Constitution was rather ambiguous, but it has been resolved by judicial opinions that should be considered part of the Constitution.

 

Provision is made in this nation for a NEW constitutional convention. And yes, the constitution is old, outdated and was not produced to address the problems, concerns and advantages of modern society. IT badly needs to be replaced, not just updated with "amendments".
