I know many of the trumpets don’t like polls but they seem to be indicating otherwise. As for who could have guessed trumps election... I wasn’t really surprised after the stunt the DNC pulled. If the economy holds trump will probably win re-election but after that who knows. If it doesn’t then he doesn’t stand a chance looking at the slim margin he had in numerous states.

That's what I'm also thinking, yes. We all know -- probably even our deliberately clueless leftists who don't want to BELIEVE what they saw the DNC do to Bernie in the last election -- that the DNC pre-selects the eventual 'nominee' before the party's primaries even begin. I think that originally they really were going to go with Beto since for some bizarre reason they actually thought that he would win against the genuine and genuinely conservative and quite popular Hispanic-American Ted Cruz down in Texas as opposed to a fellow PRETENDING to be a Hispanic-American.

From that 'win' they were rather obviously intending to launch him at Trump's throat as the next 'clean cut and articulate' Barack Obama. But of course Ted Cruz easily smashed in Beto's face. It wasn't even really a contest in Texas. So now the DNC is probably trying to decide between Kamala Harris, Warren, and Beto. Urp! That's sort of like, which of the Three Stooges does one back to emulate the state of reasoned . . . sanity?

 

I do not believe Bernie will again win the nomination no matter what, not with Nancy P. already vouching for Democrats not supporting Socialism.

 

Then why are they in business? That’s not how our presidential elections work. So they feed people useless info, and we should listen to them? Naw, I’m good, they don’t even know how to poll for a presidential election(hint, you don’t do it via some popular vote).

I hate to nag, and I hate to be the "turd in the punchbowl", but to anyone guaging the strength of the radical Democrat Party as we stumble and stagger toward 2020, please, never forget the enduring, compelling attraction and seduction of FREE STUFF!

Many who comment in this thread have, with the best of intentions I'm sure, talked about what's right and wrong, what's legal and illegal. That's fine -- but don't lose sight of this all-important factor: since the "Great Recession", more and more Americans have learned that the DEMOCRAT PARTY will offer them cradle-to-grave subsistence, handout welfare in return for their VOTES.

During the last ten years, more and more Americans have replaced the desire to succeed at building success and wealth in their lives through careers and rewarding work with a relatively effortless, far less demanding existence. They spend more of their time playing with their toys and indulging themseles with their fun little entertainments and distractions. And they've come to see that if they game the welfare system(s) and vote for DEMOCRATS, they can't be forced to do anything they don't want to.

Forgive me for harping on this so much, but the 2020 election will NOT be determined by the 'economy', or 'tax reform', or 'lower interest rates', or anything having to do with 'ethics, honesty, and legality'. NO. It will be determined by whichever Democrat Party candidate promises to give away the most FREE STUFF. We are rapidly descending into the nightmare world of Orwell's "1984" -- and if you are anywhere in the American Middle Class you aren't going to like what's coming with a DEMOCRAT 'BIG BROTHER'....

Hint: a lethargic, indolent class of bottom-feeders doesn't CARE about income taxes -- because they don't pay any. They don't care about the economy -- because welfare handouts from the government are not affected if the economy does poorly. They don't care about interest rates because they never pay off the credit balances they continually run up anyway, and, they have no money in savings accounts. Do you see the true scope of the 'Socialism-lite' juggernaut that's coming in the 2020 election now...?

 

While I agree that computing it by states would be a good additional source of information popular opinion is just as important. Especially demographics shifts.

 

It gets better -- now the conniving, rotten old bag -- two days after the 'impeachment' gambit -- is rolling out the lastest Democrat giveaway program -- "forgiveness" for all college debt, and, paying tuition for others.
