Anyone else remember when MrTLegal would use RealClearPolitics for his arguments? I wonder what changed?

Day after election would be a good time. Abuse of power in swearing in speech maybe.

That's politics. It's Separation of Power between 2 branches of government and Executive Privilege. It's expected.

Edit: Do nothing Senate? You are projecting the same as all democrats. It is the House that has done nothing. Meanwhile, the senate has appointed more judges that any recent president. The 9th Circuit with the last 2 confirmations is finally about even.

It was a Trump supporter claiming that Mueller exonerated the President, not me. I was just quoting the Mueller report.

Disagree...I think it applies to people who show up at his rallies, as well as others.

Trump is a RINO. We still have giant deficits and he opposes free trade. He's a Big Government, Big Spender, which includes large tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy. He's a foul-mouthed rich kid, who grew up in a NYC mob culture, with a huge inferiority complex, because he can't get into upper crust NY society because of his behavior. I would impeach and convict him because he parks his golf cart on the green...but there are a lot of other reasons as well, primarily because he has no respect for anyone, nor the U.S. Constitution.

Translation: The left thinks free trade is the other countries having high tariffs on America.

And, what are you going to do if Trump is voted out of office and both chambers of Congress go Democratic?

There is a World Trade Organization to resolve those types of disputes.

And I'm saying why that particular line shouldn't have been in the report. It was not the Counsel's place to "exonerate" anybody. That's like trying to render a guilty verdict without actually going in a courtroom.

Cowards gonna coward is basically what the Mueller report was. Though he did end up testifying so bravos to him.

Still ain't free trade you think Trump is against. In fact he is for free trade but we don't have free trade. You may not know that if you only listen to late night comedians for your news.

You need to actually read the report. Is it available to you? Mueller was saying he did NOT exonerate the President. Mueller did a good job considering the restrictions he was under (primarily the inability to question Trump directly and the DoJ policy on not indicting a sitting President). And, he laid the ground work for possible future indictments of both Trump and others.

I don't think so. He favors bi-lateral trade wherein he may dictate to the lesser power. Multi-national trade pacts tend to off-set the bias of economic power. I think he's called it wrong and it's going to be showing up shortly. I suspect most of the world is currently planning on how to do business without the bully.

It is showing up, China's stranglehold on sourcing is waning and their exports are down 25%. China is losing their Belt and Road policy which would have been a monopoly. Trump did the right thing.

Looks like Trump agreed to phase 1 of the trade agreement with China in the past hour. In other bad news news for libs, Boris Johnson appears to be winning the election in the UK by a landslide. It's Brexit time.

Some Republicans say impeachment is “tearing the country apart”. I disagree. No one cares about impeachment. The vast majority of Americans don’t give a sh-t.

Sorry, Dems. The great, unwashed masses aren’t in the streets with torches and pitchforks.

We'll see. China is a totalitarian state. As such, it can force the population to accept sacrifices that U.S. voters wouldn't accept. The shorter term economic perspective of a free market economy could cause us to lose this one. And, I would imagine that China is looking for import substitutes...in South America and, probably Ukraine, which was once known as "the world's bread basket." Ukraine is in a precarious position, with its economic future perhaps tied more to the EU economy, but to NATO as well and U.S. weaponry.

Yeah, China is losing this one and our economy is proving we are winning this one.

No...not necessarily. Why do you think that? Both Xi and Trump have domestic problems. Xi with Hong Kong; Trump with impeachment. The Chinese economy has suffered a hit, but the U.S. economy isn't growing as fast as Trump promised and Xi isn't facing an election next year, as Trump is. Backing away from the trade war is probably a positive for both. The fall in exports to the U.S. during the holiday season would hurt China, but could also be disastrous for the U.S. economy, if tariffs boost prices for holiday imports. Trump has to show better GDP growth and faster and more significant wage increases, currently growing at about 1% above inflation. Showmanship can only go so far. If he keeps promising, but fails to deliver, the backlash from his own base will be horrific.
