So the dem clown show is on again doing their attempt for a do-over in the Senate.

 

So...looks like we are just continuing with individual votes for subpoenas with this one focused on Pompeo, right?

 

Well DUH, why do you presume otherwise? Did you not hear his defense today YES they were giving the Constitution and history lesson on exerting executive privilege to the subpoenas the Democrats were seeking today. The House did not vote to impeach with that evidence, it is not part of the impeachment sent to the Senate and the President has clear executive privilege on those internal discussions.


Calling All Trial Witnesses
We doubt Democrats want to hear from Hunter and Joe Biden.

If the Senate calls more witnesses, let’s hear both sides of this dispute. Hunter Biden can explain what he told his father about his business in Ukraine, and Joe Biden can explain the ethical wisdom of firing a Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. There’s also former Obama energy czar Amos Hochstein, who raised concerns with Joe Biden and his aides about Hunter’s Ukrainian ties. And let’s hear from Chris Heinz, former secretary of state John Kerry’s stepson, who broke business ties with Hunter because his Burisma work was “unacceptable.””

So if one side gets witnesses and more investigation so does the other.

 

What better witness to catch a crook then the crook’s accomplice. It’s isn’t like a crook is going to surround himself with honest people. You take what you can get.

 

Seems the WSJ picked up on that this afternoon.
"This would be a spectacle, and our guess is that Democrats really don't want to hear more witnesses. They merely want to pretend they do, get Republicans to vote against witnesses, and use that as an issue in November. Perhaps Republicans should call them on it."

There is no such thing as reciprocity of witnesses.

 

Schiff complaining about not being invited to the White House by Trump: "I still can't get in the White House door. They let Lavrov in... I can't even get in the White House door."

I wouldn't let him in either.

Actually, I think the amendment is for a subpoena of DoD documents.

He was "quoting" Zelensky. Not referencing himself.

 

Every no vote is more fodder against vulnerable Republican senators.

They also permit Democrats to effectively make their case twice and it makes it much more likely that the trial is still ongoing by the time of the State of the Union.

 

Well, that's what this is all about and not impeachment. Power is more important to the dem clown show than peace and prosperity we have now.

 

I watched about 2 minutes earlier today then the phone rang, saved by the bell!

I guess I'll catch the recap in the morning if the pundits can keep their opinions out and just give me facts.

 

Schiff’s sham impeachment is littered with mischaracterizations, falsehoods, & political desperation.

The more Schiff speaks to the American people, the more the support for impeachment is obliterated in the court of public opinion.

Hot off the Press: Politico is reporting that Adam Schiff mischaracterized (read: lied) about a series of messages between Lev Parnas and Rudy Giuliani about an attempt to get to "Mr. Z." Schiff claimed that Mr. Z was President Zelenski. The rest of the letter was redacted. But later on, Parnas sent Giuliani an word document that shows notes from a conversation he had with Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma. Following that word document, was another text message. "“mr Z answers my brother.” Turns out "Mr. Z," was Zlochevshy and not Zelenski.

Schiff claimed that Parnas and Giuliani were still trying to force Zelenski to investigate former-VP Biden. But that is not the case at all. Schiff lied!!!!

I dont know of many Democrats who ever thought flipping 20 senators was very likely. So may as well collect any political wins you can along the way.
