Please use this thread to discuss the Impeachment Hearings of Kurt Volker and Tim Morrison. And please, refrain from describing the testimony without providing some justification for your belief. I didn't think I was going to get this all in, but I didn't think it would be this late. I have a basketball practice at 6:30, so I'll have to set the ole' DVR...

There are rumors Volker has amended his testimony, a la Sondland.... I guess we'll see any indication of that in his opening statement...

 

While we are waiting, who plays Morrison and Volker in the movie??

Volker sort of looks like a much younger Dustin Hoffman.... Morrison sort of looks like Michael Scott's boss at Dunder Mifflin...

Volker is delivering his opening testimony. It does not appear, so far, that he will amend his testimony. Although, to be fair, that usually happens in the end.

 

I'm about ready to join him.... We don't need the complete history of US/Ukraine relations...

 

Yea, Morrison's opening was ridiculously short and Volker's is ridiculously long.

 

Not sure there is such a thing as ridiculously short in these things....

And he just admitted there was an irregular channel while he was part of the regular channel...

 

Volker gonna get heat from both sides.

Republicans don’t like the little bit he does know, especially that Biden didn’t do anything wrong.

I'm not sure about Volker... I'm tempted to give him the benefit of the doubt here... He's a pro, unlike Sondland...

Volker just totally blew up the Schiff talking point that the meeting was contingent on a public announcement.

Schiff's case is getting even weaker by the minute.

Some of these Dems are actually destroying Schiffs weak arguements.

Zelensky had to want to do it..... Boom More vindication of Trump

World of difference between HAD to want to do it and SHOULD want to do it...

 

Morrison confirmed Sondland told Ukraine that had to say they were investigating Biden or they didn’t get the aid.

 

Morrison went to that same lawyer

 

Again, "Favor, and, "want to," are not indicative of a bribe. Your comment assumes that the two investigation would have been concurrent.

Biden was already under investigation in July.

That is why Trump asked for things specific to the 2016 election. Crowdstrike in particular.
