I don't understand this comment. You are arguing that CNN's summary of Kent and Taylor's previous testimony is indoctrination?

Right. The soldier and the Ambassador both believe it is them who should be making US foreign policy and not the President :D

As he is required to do under a US/Ukraine treaty regarding corruption. What high crime to you imaging Trump did, other than beating the hag?

Do you have an instance where their summary is inaccurate?

You have a fundamentally incomplete and inaccurate understanding of that treaty.

The treaty requires a cooperation when a domestic investigative agency files an official request for cooperation in regards to an ongoing operation.

Trump, on the other hand, was demanding that Ukraine announce the start of an investigation against his domestic political opponents while he simultaneously and unilaterally held up hundreds of millions in military aid, a requested meeting, and a restoration of trade rights.

Also, the impeachable offenses are Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Justice.

Ok, then let me know if you hear something from Taylor or Kent's testimony that is different from the summary offered by CNN.

In as much as we see, well sane people, that this Congress, the several federal agencies, and many state governments are rogue, I post the following at the risk of being banned from this website:

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, begun at a distinguished period, and pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to [subject] reduce them to arbitrary power, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security."
Can anyone tell me where what I posted comes from?

from the Virginia Declaration we read . . .
    1. That all power is vested in, and consequently derived from, the people; that magistrates are their trustees and servants, and at all times amenable to them.
    2. That government is, or ought to be, instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security of the people, nation or community; of all the various modes and forms of government that is best, which is capable of producing the greatest degree of happiness and safety and is most effectually secured against the danger of maladministration; and that, whenever any government shall be found inadequate or contrary to these purposes, a majority of the community hath an indubitable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to reform, alter or abolish it, in such manner as shall be judged most conducive to the public weal.
I post these things because it is HIGH TIME that representatives of the various constituents be held wholly, solely and completely accountable for their actions and deeds.

The FBI. Under Comey we know for a fact was corrupt. And we know that the IRS was as well under Obama.

if he thought Biden committed a crime, I don’t see the problem. All this sounds like to me is the Dems are butt hurt over losing and so are trying to get rid of trump over something as silly as “not using the right channels” to investigate a crime. Whoopty ****ing doo. Politicians do worse **** than that 5 days a week.

Find me an example of "politicians doing worse" and I'll rail against them too.

None of this relates to winning in 2020.. before this is impeachable the dems have to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump was doing this as a strategy to win in 2020.

We now have 45 minutes of Schiff (and DNC counsel) asking questions. And we have the first bit of new information, it appears.

Taylor just testified - and Schiff clarified - that the day after the phone call with the Ukraine President, Taylor's aide overheard a conversation between Sondland and Trump wherein Trump is heard asking about the "investigations" (meaning the investigation into 2016, Burisma Oil, and the Bidens) and whether Ukraine is ready to move forward. Sondland assures him that they are ready.

Edited to include the transcript portion:

"And what your staff member could overhear was President Trump asking Ambassador Sondland about quote "the investigations," Is that right?" Schiff asked Taylor.

    "That's correct," Taylor responded.

Taylor said during his opening statement that he came to understand that the term "investigations" used by the Trump administration meant matters relating to the 2016 elections and to the investigations of Burisma and the Bidens.

Schiff asked Taylor: "So your staff overhears the President asking about the investigations, meaning Burisma and the Bidens in 2016. And Ambassador Sondland told President Trump that the Ukrainians were ready to move forward?

    "He did," Taylor responded.

Referencing Taylor's opening statement, Schiff asked the diplomat, "And I think you said that after the call when your staff asked Ambassador Sondland what President Trump thought of Ukraine, his response was that President Trump cares more about the investigations of Biden, is that right?

"And Burisma, yes, sir," Taylor said.

Do you think testimony from those individuals most likely to hear conversation to that end (like Mulvaney, Bolton, or the OMB individuals charged with placing the hold on the money) would be useful to establishing that fact?

Of course, but congress isn't getting that and it is wrong to assume what their what their testimony would be.

Why isn't Congress getting that testimony? And do you think it is reasonable to conclude that Trump's decision to keep that testimony from Congress should be viewed as evidence of obstruction?

Three Dem senators sent a letter to Ukraine threatening to cut off aid unless they cooperated in the Mueller investigation.

Wow, Nunes hit a grand slam in his opening statement.

All presidents push back against Congressional overreach, even George Washington ignored a Congressional subpoena.
