After watching on NBC the first two State Dept. witnesses, their testimony was predominately about how they disagreed with Trump's foreign policy. They seem to be angry at Trump not for any high crimes or misdemeanors but because they are chagrined that Trump did not understand that they are really in charge of foreign policy, not the president.

Sure, if you believe Nunes told anything resembling the truth....

You don't want to admit that on here, do you??

Absolutely he did, including listing Schiff's history of lies.

    That's a crap whataboutism.

Trump is facing an active impeachment investigation specifically related to the topic of whether Trump sought to condition aid to Ukraine on an announced investigation that would benefit Trump's 2020 election campaign. Trump has actively ordered all current and former employees to refuse to testify or cooperate with that investigation.

Is it reasonable to conclude that Trump's decision to keep that testimony from Congress should be viewed as evidence of obstruction?

Courts often instruct juries to make an inference that testimony or documents would be damaging to the side that destroyed or prevented the disclosure of said evidence.

It will be an inactive impeachment investigation as soon as it hits the Senate, it if makes it that far.

Most of what presidents do is calculated to benefit them politically. If there wasn't a very strong probability of corruption in Ukraine involving the Biden's you might have a point, Trump has every right to discuss that. Plugs doesn't get a pass because he's running for POTUS, Hillary and Trump didn't.

By that reasoning Schiff's blocking of requested GOP relevant witnesses is also obstruction. Withholding exculpatory evidence is itself obstruction.

Actually, he's testifying to his interpretation of what he was told by others, which as the temp ambassador to Ukriaine is perfectly appropriate.

And he just made that clear once again......

All roads lead to Sondland... don't miss that day... Remember, Sondland has been not asked one question since Taylor and Morrison have been deposed...

There's been a lot of relevant parties that haven't been questioned, thanks to Schiff's stonewalling.

Won't happen, but if it did, and Trump committed perjury, that's OK like Dems thought Clinton's perjury was, right?

Fun Fact: During Clinton's Impeachment for lying to a Federal Judge under oath, he received over 80% favorable reporting from the MSM.

Nothing caused by Trump's stonewalling, right? That's just the executive branch pushing back against Congressional overreach, right?

I LOL at the word relevant, but 3 of the requested parties will testify in public next week. I'm not sure why the R's think Morrison, Volker, and Hale will do them any good, but we'll see...

    Nope.

But if you'd like me to go back in time to when Clinton was impeached, but not removed, for that perjury and blast those Democrats who held those beliefs - I will do my best.

George Kent just testified that he was intimately aware with the allegations of wrongdoing by Joe Biden in Ukraine and when asked if there was any evidence to suggest those allegations, he said, "None whatsoever."

5 minute recess... I would pay cash money to watch Nunes and Jordan pop a vein if neither witness came back in the room....
