Sorry. There are others that are more effective than natural immunity that may be good examples for coronavirus. I’m just not familiar with “human” only vaccines.

The depressing part is that if this sucker ends up acting like cold viruses we are up the creek without a paddle.

except many of the young can't afford to move out of their parents or grandparents houses under the Trump economy

but agree, as long as the hospitals are not overloaded, some spread is a good thing

agree, Trump was wrong with his guidelines to shut down the entire country, places with growing cases like NY should have shutdown, but States with no cases or very low cases should have waited and only did social distancing measures

Trump says his shutdown saved millions of lives, I think it pushed back the cases in some states and helped in others like NY

those States that shutdown that did not need too, are now getting hit, now would have been a better time for them to shut down

Trump was an indecisive leader, not what you want in a time of crisis

Social distancing is fine, an economic shutdown is not

The trump economy had full employment until Covid shut it down. Nice try but an obvious fail.

    So, wear a mask!!

maybe the trade off is to have everyone download an app so that contact tracing becomes much much simpler

No such thing as “full employment” and the economy was not that great

But the shutdown was the plan from the White House - he could have traded it off with agggressive early testing, limited travel between the states and a lock down of the worst affected areas

Unfortunately, though, the medical community is slowly learning about the long term effects from COVID. Young people may not die from it, but their life long health may well be negatively affected. As well as their life expectancy. This is information that should be spread far and wide so that people don't dismiss the virus simply because they don't think they will end up on a ventilator and die.

Cases that severe are few and far between. The overwhelming majority of young people suffer no ill effects from Covid and in fact most are asymptomatic. Stop the fear mongering.

Apparently, you didn't read my post before responding. I was talking about the long term effects on health - not the virus itself. It has been determined that for every day a person is sick with the virus, it will take 10 days for that person to fully recover. And it isn't just damaging lungs, but also the heart, pancreas, kidneys, liver and brain.

Funny that Obama was trying to take credit for the economy you now deride.

Once again the vast majority of young people suffer no ill effects from Covid and most never know they have it. Stop the fear mongering.

Fake Political Science and Fake News has been used to justify a deadly irrational response to the Wuhan Virus Pandemic. It is time to ask all the "experts" and officials involved:
"What did you really know and when did you know it?"

"For some strange reason, many people (particularly on the left) appear to want the Swedish model to fail, and the bizarrely-negative media coverage they receive should simply be ignored. In normal times, Sweden is held up as a model country on the left for virtually everything from health care to prisons to immigration policies. Suddenly, they are now viewed as the pariah of the world, being run by semi-fascistic leaders who should be (as one Twitter user noted) “carted off to the Hague” – presumably for crimes against humanity. This level of irrational ire could only be caused by those who are frustrated that the Swedes have not panicked and have instead taken a smart, long-term, balanced, middle-ground approach and have thus succeeded by the numbers while respecting their citizens’ basic liberties and livelihoods, which are also essential to living a decent life. And I really think we should be doing the same."

"Furthermore, the lockdowns are almost certainly bad for our public health. Covid-19 is not by any means the only thing that kills people. Many people are now too scared to go to hospitals to get important treatments, tests and surgeries that are certainly losing us lives to undiagnosed cancers, heart issues, etc. Where our healthcare systems cannot cope with Covid-19, we should immediately have funded and expanded our capacity (e.g. with temporary hospitals) rather than locking down society."

These lockdowns should end now, and there should never be another lockdown.

"Those who like to point out that other Scandinavian countries have lower deaths per million seem to forget that Sweden is simply further along the infection curve than these neighbouring countries, and thus that they have not saved any lives but rather delayed the death sentences of those vulnerable people in their populations by a mere few weeks or months – a delaying strategy which could be considered to be socially destructive in itself. And all the while, detractors conveniently forget all those European countries that have fared the same or much worse than Sweden according to the numbers."

Young and old people alike will be negatively affected by the radiation caused by 5G, but the government has not required any tests about that, and like the threat from tobacco smoking, neither have the companies bringing.

You don't know any of this for sure because nobody does at this point. These diseases evolve. The 1918 flu was fairly mild on everyone until the second strike took MAINLY young and healthy people and like 50 million of them worldwide

Stop pushing what may be another Black Death because you want to go bowling.

~ The Trump economy is good for everyone - especially the low skill and minority population. The lowest paid see the biggest increase in wages and employment. The psychological benefits are not to be overlooked as well.
The China economy is bad for everyone - including China .

Trump was riding the Obama wave, giving the rich mega tax cuts.... then a real crisis happened and Trump failed miserably

Obama passed Trump an economy better than was handed to him by Bush

too bad Trump could not of done the same
