Trump lies all the time. He said he would fix healthcare, fast. He said he wouldn't cut taxes for rich folks, then turned around and gave 85% of the tax cut to people making $400,000. He promised to fix the economy.

Real wages have gone up about 1% in two years.

Trump hasn't changed the trajectory of this...

There are brief periods where things look like they're improving a little--the second terms of Regan, Clinton, and Obama--but they always fall back.

Trump hasn't changed the long-term trend because he hasn't done the big things we have to do togetsustained higher growth ... changing tax laws to get more private (and public) spendingoninfrastructure,R&D, and business investment, and worker training. As a society, we have to save more andput less into dead assets like residential housing and motor vehicles. I could go on. There's a long listof things wemust do to get faster growth. All Trump has done is get a little extra growth at the end of a business cycle with a Keynesian tax cut that's driven the federal deficit from $500b to $1t.

Federal tax revenue dropped while spending on entitlements and defense kept right on growing.

The real GDP is growing about as fast as it did in 2014-2015.

He made a new trade deal with Canada and Mexico that changes very little. It may not even be ratified.

He appointed a few judges. BFD.
One of us knows Trump hasn't accomplished anything noteworthy. That's me. You have blinders on.

No. He takes children away from people who are trafficking them to get in. Big difference.

The "Deep State" is a known and time tested tactic of dictators. It is a shadowy "conspiracy" against the dictator which can be used as a sort of catchall to capture and liquidate opposition which is not 'obvious' to everyone and is often even staunchly loyal. The reason for this is because it never really exists and pretty much duplicates the manifesting of paranoid schizophrenia. Stalin used it quite extensively with Trotsky and the "revisionists".

I am not the POTUS. If he were an anonymous poster on a silly board like this, I would not give a rat’s ass if he spoke or wrote like a jackass (like he does almost every day). However over my lifetime I have come to expect more dignity, decorum and class from our chief executive. I have lived through 8 different Presidencies. I did not agree with many of their decisions or policies but they all have been, I am happy to say, classy, intelligent and serious men when it came to addressing those who they serve. Trump is an abhorrition in that department and continues to be. We need a serious leader who understands basics about how our government works. He conducts himself in office like a wreckless blowhard in my opinion and is definitely not up to the task at hand.

In this case in America in 2019 it is real and verified by a LOT of text messages, emails, other documents, testimony of witnesses, and analysis by experts. I am too experienced, jaded, and therefore cynical and skeptical to really believe that it all will be brought out into the open and the guilty prosecuted. But I am 100% convinced it exists and I am hoping that the I.G.'s current investigation and that by John Durham will help bring it into the light. I am not confident. But I hope.

True. Brash & sometimes crude mannerisms become totally unimportant when progress is being made. He was right about which regulations to kill in order to spur businesses to hire and invest in the future. Right about how to handle the little maniac in NK. Right about the whole Mueller thing being nothing but a witchhunt.

I could go on and on, but think I smell hair burning so I'll stop. :nana:

Using color to attack someone is waycist?

It is obvious the Trump haters call him the orange man as a way to get around being called racists if they attacked him for being a white man.

If the liberals are so much against racism as they portend they would avoid any labeling whatsoever that smacks of racism....such hypocrites.

    *LOL*

I hope that this was supposed to be sarcastic.

Bonespurs is an unhealthy orange skinned kook. That's not a way around "racist"; that's what the moron has done to his own skin, and there's not a race of orange-skinned people out there to be bigoted against.

In the first place liberals claim race does not exist.

Here is an example of how a liberal reacts to attacking someone based on their color..............
"Attacking someone based on their color occurs precisely because this country was built on principles of racism. It cannot be overstated that if racism didn’t exist, a discussion about varying skin hues would simply be a conversation about aesthetics. But that’s not the case. Attacking someone based on the color of their skin is colorism."
