Americans are united against attacks by progressives and Democrats on the 2nd Ammend.

Americans will unite to elect Trump to a 2nd term.

If the economy was tanking, you would be screaming about it being Trumps fault. Let's not pretend.

Are you claiming that the idea that gun restrictions are desired is all an illusion?

I'm so tired of this same ole crap. Cause it IS crap.
Obama, on more than one occasion, referenced his admiration for our "neighbors across the pond, (Great Britain and Australia) and how they dealt with "gun violence".
Reminder, both countries passed laws requiring citizens to turn in their legally owned firearms (with a government "buyback" ) or face felony charges.
    THAT, my friend, is CONFISCATION.
In GB, ownership of a firearm is nonexistent . In Australia, it is regulated to people the government decide "need" a firearm.
That is what Obama proposed. The ONLY reason he didn't take any guns was he was stopped by Republicans and the NRA. Not because he didn't want to. He always described UBC's as a "good first step" My question is, where the hell is the last step?
I would have loved for Anderson Cooper to have asked him if he thought the GB and Australian model would pass constitutional muster here.
So, carry on with your bull#### about Obama not taking any guns. A more honest statement would be "he failed in his attempts ".

And the question remains, after eight years of hearing that Obama was coming after your guns, how many guns did Obama confiscate? Not how many you think he would have liked to take away, nor how many policies you think he wanted to get done, but how many guns did Obama confiscate?

Answer, zero, zilch, none, but obviously you like so many others were easy prey for the NRA and gun manufacturers who echoed the propaganda so they could turn a buck

Hardly, just showing how the NRA and gun manufacturers have an interdependent relationship, as long as both can keep gun owners uninformed, agitated, angry, and afraid, they both profit

Right after Trump's election, but before he was inaugurated, the stock market fell a couple hundred points and every democrat in America blamed Trump. After he said he would reverse obama's EOs, the market began to climb and the same democrats credited obama. After Trump was inaugurated and immediately started reversing the EOs, the market began to break records. To this day, the left still refuse to credit Trump.

Of course he didn't get any of our guns, he didn't get the permission he was looking for. Doesn't mean he didn't try.

If gun owners were uninformed, agitated, angry, and afraid then there would be tens of millions of dead people who were killed by us right now.

Geez man, talk about being uninformed.

He never tried, if you recal, for two years he had a Democrat Congress, confiscating guns was never on his agenda, total propaganda put out by the NRA and gun manufacturers

Large percent of gunowners are uniformed, agitated, angry, and afraid, this weekend proved it

You still don't understand... People who are uninformed, agitated, angry, and afraid don't rally peacefully like this weekend did.

This is what uninformed, agitated, angry, and afraid people do:

The day you see uninformed, agitated, angry, and afraid gun owners, your best bet will be to find a safe space and not come out for a very long time.

Odd, I always the "root cause" of gun violence is guns, or is there another way to have gun violence without guns

Nah, that is what dimwits do, and the macho line with guns is getting old, Occupy Oregon pretty much proved that

Girlfriend, I'm telling you right now that if gun owners were what you said they were then we would all be out there pissed off and shooting everyone. Thank your lucky stars that, contrary to your beliefs, we're the level headed ones.

So they weren't out there this past weekend? I thought they came from all over the country, you'd have to be pretty pissed off to travel half way across the US to parade with your weapons. Stop pumping yourself, ain't anybody worried about pissed off gun owners

And I ain't your "girlfriend," I don't lean that way, but am surprised a big gun owner as your self does, well, maybe not

Hardly odd you would think that.

Perhaps, Senator Patrick Moynihan (D-NY) can give you.a hint. He issued this warning when his fellow Democrats were passing their “Great Society” and “War on Poverty” programs In the mid-1960s:

From the wild Irish slums of the 19th century Eastern seaboard, to the riot-torn suburbs of Los Angeles, there is one unmistakable lesson in American history; a community that allows a large number of men to grow up in broken families, dominated by women, never acquiring any stable relationship to male authority, never acquiring any set of rational expectations about the future -- that community asks for and gets chaos. Crime, violence, unrest, disorder -- most particularly the furious, unrestrained lashing out at the whole social structure -- that is not only to be expected; it is very near to inevitable.

Today, you never hear Democrats addressing what Moynihan warned them about 50 years ago.

Thomas Sowell can give you a hint, too:

He inherited a Republican Congress economy which had forced austerity and sequester on the massive increases in spending of the Democrats and stopped their attempts to put even MORE strangling regulations on them.
