Yeah, of the rank-and-file. And mainly pre-hire. I want the CEO and the CFO and everyone with a VP after their name to (*)(*)(*)(*) into a cup. And on a regular basis.

My president and CEO refuses to give his employees drug tests. He thinks it is an invasion of privacy. He says if anyone was to come to work noticeably under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they would be fired on the spot. His reasoning? What we do on our own time is our own business.

What objection can there be if people could apply for unemployment compensation simply for being unemployed as an alternative to means tested welfare?

Why can we still afford a War on Drugs instead of unemployment benefits?

Since most do than can we now say you support drug testing of welfare recipients who ask for direct payments from taxpayers to sustain their lifestyles while giving nothing back?

All hires and they are private companies.

To accomplish what? Are they living on the government dole while they try to seek employment.

If they lose their job and then ask the government to take the money of someone else and give to them to live off of until they get a job you have a point, otherwise it is just vindictiveness.

You make it seem like doing their chores instead of imitating Vandals doesn't mean much.

I have no problems behind the civil liberties involved--if you ask for money, you have just given up a piece of your liberty by choice. I just think it's a waste of money. I don't see how it can either reduce people on welfare, nor help the drug problem.
