    Lincoln Park is fine in studio and on the air, they aren't all that live though. I saw them at Ozzfest years ago, and was very disappointed.

    Although it isn't their fault completely, the Ozzfest organizers decided to mix it up, go heavy great live band, then studio band, so on and so forth until the Sabbath reunion tour took the final stage... It was as much the break in style than Lincoln Park not being great live. The only thing they got right that year was putting Korn right before Sabbath... That was a great time in the pit!!! :)

    Interesting. I've never seen them live. But, since you mentioned it, I could say the same of one of my favorites... AC/DC... Love listening, had an opportunity to see them live... and to say they blow, is an understatement. :(

    I think I'll stick to listening to studio recordings. lol

    Best I ever heard live, plus fantastic show/performance = Pink Floyd :thumbsup:

    Not at all, I love to see people's different views on music, that's what it's all about. It's how you tick. :eek:

    Some groups are just not good live. I've never seen Lincoln Park live or Korn. I would really love to see Korn live!

    Hmmm...

    I don't dislike David Guetta, but, it's just not my style of music...

    He's talented at what he does though...

    I heard the audio before the video came out, and was amazed...

    When the video dropped, it made the song that much more powerful...

    Kanye, to me, has lost most of his appeal as an artist...

    Jay-Z, while a very talented artist, has pretty much run out of subject matter, and, as a result, his music has become pretty redundant...

    Big Sean, to quote a particular blogger that I find hilarious, is anchovies on a pizza...

    Better w/o it...

    In fact, Cruel Summer didn't really do much for me...

    I guess I miss that Blueprint, College Dropout, Late Registration Kanye...

    I can't deny the beat...lol

    It's the same thing that gets me to listen to Mercy...

    No substance at all, but, ridiculous beat...

    That's not to say that everything I listen to needs "substance," but, well, I guess I prefer it...

    Another album I'm still stuck on is Undun, by The Roots...

    The coolest thing about it is that it's a story being told backwards...

    I do, particularly when I'm drinking, I just kind of zone out, and listen to whatever...

    I guess the reason I'm geared more towards Lupe, The Roots, Common, Little Brother, etc. is because when I write it's kind of like that type of music...
