Texas put a gigantic bounty on women who attempt to get an abortion. They didn't do that by accident. That is what they WANTED, and for you to suggest it may not be happening is your total denial of realtity. What it means is that laws are NOT the only approach to reducing the number of abortions. And, the FACT that right wingers like you totally ignore that is a strong indication that what you are ACTUALLY interested in is purely political. Otherwise, you would care about more than just laws against women's personal healthcare. What any legislation is "aimed at" requires investigating what the legislative body was thinking. I don't have any reason AT ALL to do that. The point is that their system is structured such that the state pays for abortions, yet their system results in a LOWER percent of pregnancies ending in abortion. YOU should CARE about that - if you actually wanted that result. On the other hand, I see your actions as evidence that you are far more interested in the political issue and using your religion as justification for you judging women - something that the Bible tells you is NOT something god wants from you. In fact, the Bible points to Adam's original sin as being strongly related to him thinking that he was worthy of being judge.

Banning abortion would only result in women being jailed and executed if the abortion law included it. If something is made illegal it will obviously be harder to access. They're both lives.
