    We always had that ability.

I can't imagine how it's my right, because of internal sexual organs, to get a toilet seat status preference. It's very similar to how I view the criteria for a leadership role.

There are differences between the sexes. These are "mostly" athletically related, along with some biological functions. Which, BTW, **** you for not having to experience menopause. ;)

That is an honest assessment their Curious. I would like to know how much petro goes into making those humongous micro carbon propellers on those wind turbins stretching across our plains. Also how much grease it takes to lubricate them and how much driving time is involved in setting up and maintaining them. Sometimes I feel those questions are put aside in favor of completion of an "agenda".

These are questions that have been tackled since the beginning. It used to cost your parents a lot of money to get rid of your pee and poop. Now, it's the same amount of money, but it smells less and is easier to deal with. It also uses a lot more stored energy, and "poops" out stored energy that will take millions of years longer to turn back into efficient energy.

The thing is, the more efficient we make our lives, the shorter we make our time on earth. The less willing we are to minimize it, no matter how small, the quicker that time comes.

I don't, personally, have a vested interest in this. I am doing what I can/we can, to reduce our waste, but we are but one. Nothing we do matters unless billions more agree. Won't happen in my lifetime. My husband and I will die happily in the knowledge that, in the end, we were a net benefit to the planet. (Even if that means we were one butterfly, trying to slow a train.)

Biden won't have much to do with it. He is a place holder as he once said.

No clue what point you are making. We won't be able to do without fossil fuels for quite a long time. You seem to be against preparing for the inevitability that we won't have it, one day. Why do you hate the idea of preparing for the future?

No, it's just hard for me to contemplate the idea of "stored energy" resulting in the type of power we so often demand. I do understand hydroelectric and think it is brilliant as it constantly puts out. You are so very correct that fossil fuels need to be around for a long time. Guess I refer to AOC and her following that we need to cut it out now or we are doomed in 12 years. To me, that is an idea that will enslave us to China.

AOC has almost no support. Her version of radical leftists are a tiny minority in the house.

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Broccoli is stored energy. When we eat it, our body turns it into kinetic energy. When we poop it out, it becomes stored energy again. Same with gasoline. The exhaust is the kinetic energy reverting back to stored energy. A log is stored energy. Burning it is using it/kinetic energy. The ashes are the stored energy. To reuse that energy will take a long time, because now the earth has to compress it, over millions of years, the same way it turns decomposing earth into crude oil.

Yeah those forty or fifty Neocon war mongers will carry the day for Dems... Not.

The problem with polls now is that 60% of independents and 2/3 of Republicans are keeping their mouths shut until election day.

Trump beat Hillary, Obama's FBI, Obama's CIA, Biden, MI6, Russian Spies hired by Hillary, rigged Grand Juries, Prosecutors with engraved invitations to Hillary's victory party, and still won because he didn't spend money in CA, NY, or IL ,,, because the popular vote was meaningless.

Don't forget Xi. Biden is certain to cut deals that pump money into the bank accounts of his family members for a 50% cut. Always has ,,, no reason to expect him to change now.

A review is in order. We seemed to have gotten away from the topic of this thread.

The circumstances surrounding the 2016 election are so peculiar, it is extremely unlikely they will be duplicated.

In 2016, the Democratic Party chose the worst possible candidate. Clinton was unpopular, under FBI investigation, and was lugging around a ton of baggage. Trump still managed to lose the popular vote.

Joe Biden is not a Hillary Clinton.

The Times wrote, "Right now, polls say Joe Biden has a healthy lead over President Trump. But we’ve been here before (cue 2016), and the polls were, frankly, wrong."

    No, they were not!

National polls only measure the popular vote. Clinton did, in fact, win the national popular vote by 2.1 points. The average of the 13 final national polls had Clinton ahead by 3.1 points, which was only a point off the actual result.
One last look: 2016 polls actually got a lot right | TheHill

The election was won by less than 80,000 votes. Axios reports that Trump won Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin by 0.2, 0.7 and 0.8 percentage points, respectively — and by 10,704, 46,765 and 22,177 votes. Those three wins gave him 46 electoral votes; if Clinton had done one point better in each state, she'd have won the electoral vote, too."

Nearly everyone today has forgotten the effect James Comey had on the election. Eleven days before Election Day, FBI Director Comey reopened the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton. Clinton had a substantial lead in the polls, but in the week that followed Comey's announcement her lead quickly evaporated. Two days before the election, Comey issued a "sorry about that" and closed the investigation for lack of anything new.

    It was too late.

The Hill reports, "Exit polling found that late-deciders in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin broke for Trump by double-digit margins as high as 29 points."

During the election campaign, every voter in the country knew that the FBI was investigating Clinton. The FBI was also investigating the Trump campaign for its alleged cooperation with Russia. Voters were not aware of that investigation until after the election.

Another aspect of the strange circumstances surrounding the 2016 election is that a significant number of Democratic voters are solely responsible for Trump's election victory.

Young Sanders supporters were aggrieved that their candidate didn't get the nomination, and, in their anger and disappointment, they managed to elect Trump.

Newsweek reports, "According to the analysis of the 2016 Cooperative Congressional Election Survey, fewer than 80 percent of those who voted for Sanders in the Democratic primary did the same for Clinton when she faced off against Trump a few months later. What's more, 12 percent of those who backed Sanders actually cast a vote for Trump.

"The impact of those votes was significant. In each of the three states that ultimately swung the election for Trump—Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania—Trump's margin of victory over Clinton was smaller than the number of Sanders voters who gave him their vote."

In Wisconsin, 51,000 Sanders supporters voted for Trump. Trump's margin of victory was 22,000.

In Michigan, 47,000 Sanders supporters voted for Trump. Trump's margin of victory was 10,000.

In Pennsylvania, 116,000 Sanders supporters voted for Trump. Trump's margin of victory was 44,000.

The young Sanders devotees bought Trump's con.

Sad to watch Bernie Sanders abandon his revolution. We welcome all voters who want to fix our rigged system and bring back our jobs.

Bernie Sanders voters helped Trump win and here's proof
Bernie Sanders supporters didn't just stay at home, they voted for Donald Trump in significant numbers last November.

Those young Democrats will vote again in 2020, and no doubt they realize the horrible mistake they made.

They won't make that mistake again.

The proof is in the fact is that all that is required to make diamonds is immense pressure. Millions of years do not necessarily have to be a factor.
