    I don't know very much about care bears tbh. I do know progressives/modern liberal ideology. Murdering babies in the womb won't stop at the first tri, simply because that still means at some point the government is legislatively telling a woman about her rights, regarding her body.

    So, while it has not reached this yet in the United States, it certainly will...and eventually well beyond that. Once the argument was contrived in this direction, it by almost necessity, must follow the direction.

    In the not too distant future we will legally be killing babies outside the womb, for whatever reason is legislated.

    She's 100% correct though. If men were (*)(*)(*)(*)ing men (no pun intended, just my sailor mouth - but hah!) abortion wouldn't happen.

    Of course, I'm sure you'll ignore this aspect of it.

    BTW, I've heard Obama talk about abortion and he's all for it....

    But he's done nothing about it except talk, is the point. Reagan and both Bushes also talked big about abortion, but none of them actually did anything.

    No, she isn't right. Even if a thousand idiots agree with her and tell her she's right. Truth isn't a matter of majority consent. Men are intimately involved in the abortion discussion and we won't be intimidated by feminist crap.

    It is interesting that some in this thread are knee jerking to their "pro choice v. pro life" stances dictated by the parties. Maybe "interesting" isn't the right work...perhaps "sickening" is more appropriate.

    Being an renter of a penis (whenever my wife let's me take it out of her purse) I have restrained from interjecting my personal opinion on the topic (out of respect for the OP who I feel is one of the few intellectuals on this board), but I must say you have given me food for thought. Your essay doesn't differ too much (at least in the end) of my own but would say lends a lot more focus to my opinion.

    Men are intimately involved in the discussion, sure. But the only "intimate involvement" they have in the actual process is the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing that caused it.

    Ohhh, but right. You believe women get abortions just 'cause they hate babies and love killin' 'em.

    A zero sum argument. Any reasonable person (as in not you) understands what a zero sum argument. Applied to this, the man's guilt in creating a baby is shared equally by the woman, so it cannot be used as leverage against the man because the two cancel out. This is what real intelligence is, and it will always evade you.

    You did and you failed.
