What serious or humorous skill and/or trait do you think you most inherited from one of your ancestors and why?
I think I have a fair talent for kanguage and so does my mother (her sister holds a phD in German language). So, prolly got that from her side.
One of the nicknames my family has given me is Macgyver. I'm sort-of a Mr. Fix-it. It's a skill I picked up from my dad.
That awkward moment when you claim you have talent for language and cannot even spell it. The best idea here would be not to say anything and pretend as if it was intentional to make it appear as a whitty joke, but I really am not that clever and way too pedantic to let this mistake go unnoted.
I got way too much of my personality from my mother's side; both my mother and grandmother are total wrecks and I too am a very nervous and impatient personality. And, just like my mother and grandmother, I talk too much and when I was in school, teachers always had to tell me to shut up. However, I - thankfully - am not even half as outgoing as my mother and tend to be extremely reserved when around strangers. I am also very much like my maternal grandfather in that I always have to crack dumb jokes in serious situations. I know too little about my father's side to know if I am anything like any of his family. All I know is that I am nothing like him.
I dunno... probably all the annoying ones... like my stubbornness... and slow to anger but once pissed explosive temper... likely my snark too
Well, I have an efficient metabolism that shuts down when I don't eat as much. I also think I have a pretty good eye for seeing what is out of place, which would have helped me in hunting.
Lol. My entire persona is pretty damn annoying and blaming genetics feels good because it does not put the responsibility of change on your shoulders.
