Ya, prices for the XBOX 360 games are getting crazy cheap, that and games for gold has my XBOX 360 inventory expanding fast. I have no plans to by the XB1 or the PS4 until 2015.

I picked up Dark Souls 2 on Tuesday. I previously beat both Demon Souls and the first Dark Souls. I've played about 15 hours so far of number 2 abs I'd have to say is the best Souls game yet.

The combat is more deliberate. It seems tougher than the other two games although I'm pretty used to the play style so it's still really not that bad. I've found a couple covenants that I really like the concept of.

That's when they're turning off live for the 360 right? I would wait but I must play bungies first indy title as soon as it comes out.

My buddy at work is playing that too he says it's pretty hilarious and from what I've seen it looks exactly like the show.

I thought it was an XBOX One exclusive.

Even harder than the original Dark Souls? I never got a chance to play Demon Souls as it was a PS3 exclusive.

I haven't heard of any plans to shut down XBL for the 360... I plan on getting one of the new consoles in 2015 because by then there will be a price drop and a larger inventory of games to play.

It's ridiculous how well the art style is done. It's like one of those dreams you have as a kid - to have a cartoon recreated exactly as in the show, but in a video game.

By looking at the complete lack of aliasing I'd say they've digitally done the same process they use to make the show: use cutouts. I recently got a wide-gamut 2560x1600 30" display, and the game looks breathtaking. Given the resolution, it actually looks better than the show by a country mile.

The gameplay and story are spot on too. The only thing I'd ask for is co-op, but I see why they left it out.

    ie: get it.

I'm back in WoW again after not playing since before Mists dropped.

Not liking the prospectus for the upcoming expansion. More removal of abilities and stats and flavor. More simplifying of an already oversimplified game. The gameplay is still fun enough to pique my interest but I'm coming to the conclusion that Blizzard thinks it's customers are little more than meat-with-eyes-and-a-wallet and require all their gameplay choices to be made for them.

Ya, I have been disappointed with Blizz every since they made it mandatory to be online for the SP portion of Diablo III. I have been tempted to get back into WoW but out of protest of their money grubbing ways I have not.

Yeah I hear you. I only came back because I happened to see that they were offering Mists for 75% off in December. Plus I have a cousin(one that I introduced to the game) who plays and is always telling me to come back.

I mostly just do PvP for the time being. Don't have the gear to raid beyond the Raid Finder yet and I have no interest in pet battles. I run two accounts, one that has all my main toons, and one that I camp the AH with to sell glyphs. Just topped 400k gold this past weekend. I'm kind of bragging about that I suppose, but my cousin has heard it more than he cares to by now I'm sure and my wife just doesn't care :)

It feels like it. It takes longer to heal. Less healing items (sort of). Slower more deliberate combat. I welcome it though. I think they've improved the Souls formula. I think the online is better too.

Just finished Stick of Truth. I must say it is the funniest game I've ever played. I dare say that it was even funnier than the movie.

Try Path of the Exile for MP or jump into Torchlight 2 for SP & LAN . If you are not very picky with overly cartoonish , lighthearted games i suggest Sacred series .

Man that game was amazing. Shame it ran so poorly on Windows 7.

    - - - Updated - - -

L.A. Noire is one of my top 3 favorite games ever. The original Deus Ex takes the top spot. Human Revolution was good too.

You've made some good choices :p

Good to hear, they ruined the Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden series with the last installments as they dumbed them down for casual players and I would hate to see that happen to the Souls franchise.

Deus Ex was an awesome game. Square can't get much right anymore but they definitely did it justice. Loved the soundtrack for it too. I bought that as soon as I could.

Started back up on Bioshock Infinite last night. The first one was decent but I really enjoy this one.

I don't know. I was surprised by the new Devil May Cry. I had originally objected to it when they revealed the new look but in my opinion it's one of the better ones. But everyone has their tastes.

It was fun but it was short. My suggestion is to Redbox it if it's still available.

Can't wait for Destiny myself. I'm absolutely psyched about it.

GTA was fun. Just wish it had more heist missions. Have you played the new Tomb Raider yet? I was surprised by how much I loved it.
