Ya, the latest Tomb Raider was amazing, one of the best in the series. How about the new Wolfenstein? I did not even give the new Wolfenstein any thought because it has been many years since I have played a good Wolfenstein game... but the new one turned out to be one of the best FPS's that I have ever played! I am still waiting for some more GTA single player content... not heard any news on that front... hope they are not going to focus on multiplayer.

Tomb Raider was absolutely amazing. They really made her a real character in that game and one you cared about.

I Redboxed the new Wolfenstein just to give it a shot and from the little that I played I enjoyed it. I'm still not that far into it. Another game that I need to invest some time in is Thief. The small amount of that that I played was good but it's something I need to actually devote some time to instead of a rental. Anytime a game gets the stealth system right then I have to have to go through it that way. It's not even a choice for me.

My roommate and I have done GTA online together. We got a thing where we watch each others backs. If he's in the store then I'll wait outside and keep watch and vice versa. We learned the hard way after someone decided to wait on us with a weapon. I ran out first taking the hit and told my roomie to wait inside. I respawned and started making my way over there and while the other player was concentrating his shots on me my roomie came out behind him with his guns.

Thief II is on my short list of best game ever... sadly they dropped the ball with NuThief. The new Thief is not a bad game, its just that it did not live up to the older games. The city in the new Thief is just a tangled mess to navigate. But I did like the missions and there are plenty of side missions... once you find a way to get to them through the mess of a city map.

I wish I still had my ninja reflexes else I would be playing GTA Online.

Been playing Watchdogs also... good game but missing something and I cannot put my finger on what. But the stealth, hacking, and side jobs are fun.

These days it's mostly Elder Scrolls Online and World of Tanks. I have been playing Civ 5 a bit but really only for a multiplayer game with a friend.

If anyone cares, the game is at about 300ad and I'm playing as Greece, handily winning. His score is close to mine because of wonders, but where most nations capitals are 5-8 pop mine is 20 pop, and I have 3 others with over 10. If you're a civ 5 player, try playing as Greece and going hard for tradition, pattonage, and gaining city state allies. I've met 22 city states and am allied with 15, friends with 2. It's such a boss strategy haha.

Good. It feels a little bit too much like a MMORPG for my taste, but they did a good job with the quests. It's kind of like an MMORPG that can be well played solo. They even pulled in some high profile voice actors - one of them is John Cleese.

But as reluctant as I was to get it, I'd say that it's worth it. I'm told that the game really shines in the POP area. The way it is set up is that there are 3 factions, each with 3 races, and ultimately they compete with each other for land in the center, which is what the PVp is.the 10th is Imperial, which you have to get a special edition for.

I'd you get it I'd recommend shopping around. Try green man gaming. The game is 60 itself, 80 for imperial edition, but I got the imperial edition for something like 44 dollars.

I felt thief was a major letdown. The dark project was an amazing game well ahead of its time. This game I think tried too hard with "special" moves, and it felt so cookie cutter, like an ea rpg. You can buy rope arrows, but can only use them in preset locations - wtf is that?

I doubt my vid card could push the graphics... so perhaps in the future. I had heard mixed reviews so it is good to talk to one who has spent a bit of time playing it. I am however looking forward to the Shadow of Mordor to come out on the XBOX 360 as it is looking amazing.

Ya, the limitations are frustrating... I end up using the special ability to highlight things that I can interact with to save on frustration. I love the swoop mechanic and hope that future iterations build off of what they did right in the game. I still like the NuThief game, but it should have been a great game and not just good... especially from those who produced the new Deus Ex game which was a masterpiece.

Oh I sucked at GTA online. That doesn't mean I didn't have fun though.

I know what you mean about Watchdogs. I think their's a sense of adventure and exploration that's missing from the game. That's the only thing I can figure.

Elder Scrolls is fun but I just can't get into it as much as other people do. I always feel like their's a lack of connection between me and the main character. No real reason to care about them. That detracts from it in my opinion.

I didn't get very far in Thief so I wouldn't really know. When Square picked up Eidos they started remaking and rebooting all of their games. Hitman was decent but it still wasn't great. Tomb Raider as discussed earlier was nothing short of amazing. Thief I have yet to fully see myself. I just wonder how long before they reboot the Blood Omen/Soul Reaver series.

I absolutely hate hidden object games. All I want is to find a good puzzle and mystery game and all I keep finding are hidden objects. It's annoying.

The only time I play Minecraft is with my roommate. And then the only thing I do is dig. Dig up. Dig down. Dig sideways, it just doesn't matter. I'm like a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing dwarf when I start playing and that's all I care about doing, just dig dig dig.

Dicked around on the destiny beta at a friends house. It looks (*)(*)(*)(*)ing kickass.

"Command Authenticated, stand by for Titanfall"

I still get nerd goosebumps everytime the robot guy says that lol

Game is great I still play it a few times a week.

I wish they would have incorporated a single player campaign. Im one of the few people who actually enjoy playing single player FPS. The standard sci fi story they have in the multiplayer "campaign" is decent enough to where i would have loved to play through a real campaign.

Digging is one of my favorite part of the game.

But then i use the stuff I dug up to build things.

Just about anything I want. The only limit is imagination and knowing how to use the blocks.

There have been some incredible things built in minecraft that you wouldn't believe.

Oh I've seen some of the stuff that has been built. It's amazing what some people can make.

I don't really build anything myself, I just tell my roomie I need this or that and to get me more supplies.

I haven't played Titanfall. Not a horribly big fan of online only games but I'm more then willing to break that rule for Destiny when it comes out.

It would be nice if games spent more time then what they do for single player. I've spent a long time with no online capabilities and it got real frustrating playing games that had short campaigns, seemed to punish you for not playing online, or were so full of bugs that it rendered the game nearly unplayable(looking at you Assassin's Creed 3). Take the time to make the game right and make it a full game. I don't think that's asking for to much.

One of the guys I work with said he's been playing the beta all last week. He loves it. Said all three classes are balanced out. I can't wait to play it.

Ya the new Wolfenstein was amazing! Been thinking about trying the Destiny beta but as I am old I would only serve as cannon fodder.

The only reason I know it's closed is because my roommate fought with the issue of whether or not to preorder it and get the beta. By the time he decided and went to download it it had closed. It's a good thing he didn't get it the day before or he would have been pissed with how long he actually would have been able to play it.
