I figure both would be bad but I think Pence wouldn't be the embarrassment donald is when he opens his mouth.

It will come down to whenever VP Pence or Speaker Ryan believes DJ Trump has become totally incapacitated intellectually.

I thought the slander against BH Obama was a possibility. But that was just more Trump foolishness. Nobody seemed to be too worried about that.

I think a missile strike against N.Korea is imminent and most people agree with doing it.

And I think relations with Russia will improve again soon unless there is another Russian SNAFU like the Syrian chem weapons attack.

So Trump is doing fine for now.

He is no worse than Quayle would have been had he been elected POTUS.

But GHW's on ineptitude prevented that.

So far Trump is no worse than Jimmy Carter was -- having also been an outsider with no ability to unite the Congress and govern.

Trump is just talking like Reagan about shutting it down. They were/are both inept outsiders.

    The DEM's cannot impeach Trump.

They do not have enough votes.

Only the GOP can do it.

And they would do it only if they had to, in order for VP Pence to take over.

I disagree and also think it's way too early to say anything about Trump.

Last weekend from Friday evening to Sunday night there was a plethora of commentary by virtually all the newscasters that DJT is fairly inept and shallow. He is simply a crisis manager. He has no real vision of any kind.

The only really troubling thing about him so far for me was the slander against BH Obama. But nobody else thought that was a big deal, whereas I thought it was the first true sign of paranoia and insanity. But for everybody else that was just more of the same.

So the public's expectations for DJT are simply very low. And in that kind of an environment you @ArmySoldier could be correct -- there will be no move by VP Pence or by Speaker Ryan to impeach him.

Nothing would change by impeaching Trump. Nothing. If anything, you get the head of the Tea Party as the President. Someone who's been doing a great job at VP so far. Republicans would all rally behind him in 2020 instead of the divided Repubs from this election, giving Republicans another 4 years.

The white house is just a house. The policies are what drive the country. Pence would heavily enforce the conservative agenda, much more than Trump ever will

What about when he talks and nothing is brought about as evidence of anything. Will the left ever get over it?

It's a "she". If you read carefully, I at least would be perfectly fine with keeping Trump as president as I think replacing him will be more harmful than keeping him. I'm perfectly fine with having Trump staying as president and causing a rift between republicans. Already there seems to be a divide on important matters within the republican base.

Should there be a wall or not? Quite some republicans don't think so.
Should there be a shutdown of the government? Some people here actually even said they would vote someone else if he would shut down the government to push his agenda.
How will the healthcare reform look like? It seems Trump isn't doing an efficient job so far in bringing moderates and deep conservatives together. I expect someone more experienced like Pence to do a better job.

By all means, keep him around for 3 more years.

    Never.

In my opinion, only traitors and cowards hope for America to fail. Hopefully you are neither.

IF he ever were to be impeached, it would be due to support from republicans. Republicans would only do that if they think it would be in their interest. what would your reaction be then and who would you blame? Just curious.

Why should we ever impeach Trump?

Obama BROKE THE LAW no less than three separate times over five years and he wasn't impeached! :blowkiss:

He should be impeached and removed from office when he refuses to give the order to unleash all of our nukes against Russia, so they would then unleash all of theirs. But they would have to do it fast for the democrats would only have 30 minutes in order to do it.

You think Democrats would have as much as 30 minutes to 'impeach Trump'? Try something more like 10 minutes....

Hint: any war between the U. S. and Russia will be lost by both sides. Moreover, the sequence of significant events will be defined almost entirely by the actions taken by both sides with submarine-launched ICBM's.

Still, it is true that Trump walked into office with a greater likelihood of being impeached than Obama ever did

    After all:
    1. Trump is the wrong color.
    2. Trump is the wrong sex.
    3. Trump is the wrong age.
    4. Trump is a capitalist president in the middle of an increasingly socialistic government.

Democrats will move heaven and earth to make certain he fails, and if that means impeaching him, they'll try it in a heartbeat....

[IMG]."...and after Trump's gone, they'll be BEGGING ME to run in 2020!"
