Did you really want a serious answer or is this just a bait thread? The serious answer is, assuming the US has similar policies to the UK, they're probably incinerated like other (and I'm sure you'll leap on the term) medical waste such as amputated limbs and removed organs. There might be scope for a formal burial if the parents wish it but I'm not sure what local legal or policy issues could be involved in that. Most abortions are carried out at such an early stage as to make that something of a moot point.
Wouldn't destroying them be wasteful to the Scientific community? Aren't they taking the stem cells from the dead babies anyway? I'm sure they are. These are harvested "globs of cells", fetuses,babies, not waste, so some lab somewhere in America or outside of America is definitely using the dead parts.
A few states have slightly more lenient abortion requirements for medicaid, but only slightly. Such as allowing for medicaid abortions when the fetus is severely deformed. Remember that medicaid abortions are a tiny portion of abortions anyway.

Not really. I don't believe there is a huge demand for new stem cell lines since once scientists have some, they can be grown in the lab almost indefinitely (that is, after all, part of the point). I'm sure there are some places where extraction of stem cells from aborted foetuses is done (legally) but I doubt it's on any kind of large scale and since it would only involve taking a few cells, the initial question remains unchanged.

Well, if he has to do that to give woman such basic liberties, by all means. I cant see what they actually did wrong here.
