I'd rate myself about an 8. I was raised as a Christian and believe in the Golden Rule. I don't however go to church or have every passage of the Bible memorized. I believe in God because of my experiences, not because what someone in a church told me. I don't believe in faith healing, and I think it is ok for kids to have fun on Halloween and for kids to be able to read Harry Potter.

King Asa was a religious fanatic. He killed people who believed in other religious fairy tales.

Jesus was a religious fanatic. He thought that only his fairy tale was the real one and cursed people when they didn't believe him.

Paul was a religious fanatic. He started a new religion.

There are countless other religious fanatics in the Bible. All of them were nuts.
