According to the poll, there is only one Catholic in this forum: me.
    Can that be?

And I can also see that hardly anybody has clicked onto anything.
Are most of you afraid to click?
    Why?

    The poll is anonymous.

Ask your preacher what the real Ten Commandments are. He will tell you about the fake ones in Exodus chapter 20 or in Deuteronomy chapter 5. He will not tell you about the real ones in Exodus chapter 34:11-28. all of the biblical stories are based on the real Ten Commandments found in Exodus 34:11-28. The miracles are based on Exodus 34:10.

Rome is my favorite city. It is easy to walk all around it in a day and see all of the main sights. I hope to be able to see it one more time before I croak.

I'm sorry. I didn't communicate well. I was unfamiliar with when to do the sitting standing kneeling. Other parts of the service was confusing.

Awesome! I just wasn't sure. My neighbors are in a network of house churches...meaning they worship in hosting homes, taking turns. Once every few weeks we had about 30 cars lining our street...which was no big deal because we are in a rural setting. No leader or expectations except Bible study and worship.. So many ways to worship!

You ignore what Jesus taught and take the immoral position instead of the moral one.

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Deuteronomy 24:16 (ESV) "Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.

The declaration which says that God visits the sins of the fathers upon the children is contrary to every principle of moral justice. [Thomas Paine, The Age of Reason]

You have to sin to be saved, --- by abdicating your own responsibility for your actions and sins, --- and you think that is the right thing to do, showing how corrupt your thinking is.

    Regards
    DL

Is there really only ONE Catholic in the whole forum?
I start to feel fearful if I am the only one.
Are Catholics such a rare breed? :)

Probably about as much as a baby worries about and laments not having a full set of teeth. Or its Parents discarding it for the same reason. That youngin of yourn cain't even chew. I was baptized the year the Priesthood was extended to blacks. I remember wondering how God could be real and divinity afoot without me knowing about it, and its blessings unavailable to me for so many years, as if I were deaf and blind and utterly unwanted. Where was my dignity and why was I put away so long? Oh well, the sun rises when it rises. What then to do but commence to laboring. There have always been black members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Today they number about one million and counting. Why were Jews pre Jesus Christ denied his advent for thousands of years, and what does it mean?...why were gentiles pushed aside?...I don't know. In fact, I know way less than what I don't know. But what I know I know pretty well. I know that Jesus Christ is real and that he lives. I know that the missionaries are his authorized laborers. And I know that he restored his Church and authority thru Joseph Smith. All the subsequent intrigue and dark swirling fury are irrelevant to me. The truth is my sanctuary. And I did not build it. It is my provision from God.

You make no sense. How can I ignore what Jesus taught when I quoted what he said without editing or interpretation because its meaning speaks for itself?

There appears to be 5 sensible people here, those who don't believe this superstitous nonsense.

Shocking that our higher nature is inclined to the higher thing rather than rooting around in the mud. Which one is sensible should be self evident.

I’ve been married to a Quaker for 48 years now. I like the silent worship, and their commitment to peace and caring for others. What I think they lack is an acceptance that Christ is the son of God through whom we are offered redemption and salvation. It’s the reason I’ve remained a Methodist.

What I’ve described here is true of East Coast Quakers, but not Quakers throughout the rest of the country. Friends General Conference, and Friends United Meeting (the two making groups in the U.S), the first worship in unprogrammed meetings for worship, the second in programmed meetings for worship.

There is nothing normal about supporting the oldest existing terrorist organization and terror-sponsoring State.

    What I wonder:

Are there really no other Catholics here?
Or is it only, that they do not dare to out themselves?
I thought by outing myself some others would have the courage to out themselves as well.
    Was I mistaken?

@ I have included: "or once was".

But there still is only one vote for "Catholic".
    My vote.

Does that mean that there are not even Ex-Catholics here?

If that is the general and accepted feeling here I do not wonder why nobody beside myself dares to out themselves as Catholic.

I opened this thread so that we could talk with each other - not in order to insult each other.
