Actually that is as American as it gets.To know who ones
accuser is and have the ability to confront him or her.
It's Called The 6th Amendment
The right to be confronted with the Witnesses against the accused.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff said Sunday that his panel has reached an agreement to secure testimony from the anonymous whistleblower whose detailed complaint launched an impeachment investigation into President Trump.

The announcement from Schiff came on the same day that Tom Bossert, a former Trump homeland security adviser, delivered a rebuke of the president, saying in an interview on ABC’s “This Week” that he was “deeply disturbed” by the implications of Trump’s recently reported actions.

 

Same for Trump.

 

It's a sad time when a whistleblower, trying to uphold the integrity of the highest office in the world, will have to be treated in the same way as witnesses against organized crime.

 

How were any threats made when nobody knows who he or she is?

 

Has everyone who supports President Trump forgot about the release of the call transcript? Most are not willing to address that.

 

There's a reason for that.

 

He's not a whistle blower. He's a legitimized leaker. The former CIA Director, Brennan, the Communist whose goal, like Putin's, is to resurrect the USSR, told his former underlings to leak like sieves ,,, and he modified the whistle blower form to legitimize espionage.
