    "Big Consequences" (title cont'd)

In addition to threatening the whistleblower, Trump has threatened Civil War if he is impeached. This threat has prompted a Republican to call his threat repugnant.

    upload_2019-9-30_10-14-13.png

Meanwhile, closed investigations into Trump's political enemies are being mysteriously reopened. Foreign aid was withheld for suspicious reasons while three private Trump lawyers heckled a Ukrainian Prime Minister for dirt on a domestic political opponent. Oh, and Trump threatened to take the economy with him as well.

Republicans, you are better than Trump. Act like it.

He didn't threaten a war...he said it would cause a "Civil War like fracture" - it would....the Dems are desperately diving this nation, and have been since 2016

The whistleblower put his or her self in danger, and Trump didn't threaten civil war.

How did the whistleblower put himself in danger?

    "By exposing the President."

When Trump was asked what he could to bring the country together, he talked how great are his supporters.

Yep, he is now threatening to kill people and to start a civil war. He is showing his true colors in full view.

This is a clear case of threatening a witness.

He does have great supporters.....the backbone of America really....have you seen a map of the 2016 election? The overwhelming amount of counties that supported the President was astonishing

You mean the minority population of the country, right?

The President demonstrates a notable lack of willingness and inability to unify the country when he responds a question explicitly about what he would do to unify the country and talks solely about his supporters.

By having a partisan bias and attempting to create negative consequences for the president over something which as of yet hasn't been demonstrated as improper.

No, the majority of the country....the map is quite impressive. Only a few areas on the coast didn't support him.

He's supporters are great people, open minded as well....it's the folks like Adam Shifty that are doing Putin's bidding of spreading division and misinformation...it's how Putin and Adam Shifty win

The whistleblower is a clown who had no direct knowledge of the conversation

It is too late to try and use the hearsay defense. We all have the transcript.

So...by that definition, literally every single Democrat (and the Republicans who have dared to speak against Trump) are endangering themselves.

    More fake news?

Whistleblower attorney says '60 Minutes' 'misinterpreted' key letter

A lawyer representing the unidentified whistleblower in Congress' impeachment investigation blasted "60 Minutes" on Sunday, saying the program "misinterpreted" a letter from his legal team in reporting that it indicated his client is under federal protection.

Mark Zaid, the attorney, tweeted that the famed news program "completely misinterpreted contents of our letter," which he linked to from his Twitter post.

This is a deep state coup attempt on the Office of the President of the United States. A greater threat to our nation than China and Russia together!

Trump's statement is accurate and it was a statement, not a threat.

At the very least the "whistleblower" is legally obligated to expose his sources who are not under the whistleblower protection and committed multiple crimes by sharing classified information with him/her.

That being said, boo fing hoo lol he is a big boy, he is a traitor, he is a coup conspirator. He should turn himself in, he'll be perfectly safe in protective custody lol

Yes, wide open unpopulated empty space supports trump. Actual Americans do not, by a large margin.

Whistleblower's Lawyers Say Trump Has Endangered Their Client as President Publicly Threatens.

Not a problem. The dems can simply create another whistleblower. Which begs the question why does a whistleblower need lawyers?

To keep the identity of the whistleblower protected while simultaneously communicating on his behalf with the relevant law enforcement and governmental agencies.

So someone can't speak to congress without a lawyer. There is something wrong with that. We should be able to communicate with "our" government without reprisal.
