Then there is no legitimate point in believing that firearm training requirements should be mandatory. If even a trained individual cannot prevent their weapon from being forcibly taken from them, the training provide no more benefit than being untrained.

 

I agree. They have every right to showcase their weapons, I believe in the castle doctrine, but they should not aim them at others.

SCOTUS has already held that the right to bare arms isn't an absolute right and some restrictions are warranted. As no system is 100% perfect that means some level of abuse exists in the application of those restrictions yet that has never been enough to warrant the removal of said restrictions.

Gun safety training needs to be brought back in a big way, especially in schools. Bring back the gun clubs.

I went through several news headlines and read the first paragraph looking for White Couple. This is not scientific but I grabbed the first 20
and 9 out of of 20 mentioned white. You say that this "liberal" media made sure to point out white well I call it a draw, fifty fifty, half n half ..

You may want to rethink your samples. I merely took a couple of your samples where you state only a couple was mentioned, and guess what, they were mentioned as a white couple.

I do not think we know the party, I think either part of rich elites could do the same

this was a gated community, these people fear outsiders - and outsiders breaking down their gate and walking in... would really scare them

Also the returns can vary by how you word your search.

Throwing in that it is a white couple is 100% race baiting. If it where a black couple, there would even be mention of the story as it would fit the narrative.
