Nobody has ever done as much damage to race relations or the Democratic party as Barrack Obama.

 

Obama was a mediocre President.

Trump is a horrific President.

The difference in style is very easy to see.

 

The DC Mayor doesn't have US National security first and foremost on her mind, hence the problem. I do find it funny(though not surprising) that there are comments wishing for the President to be injured or hurt. Which demonstrates the point and why everyone else is right that if shots had been fired, the situation would have calmed down. People need to know they've got skin in the game, literally and then they'll stop.

If Trump himself had joined one of those rally's, he would have been a target and we know it(hell, we know it from some of these posts.) Trump can literally walk on water and he's still an "orange tanned" racist.

 

Other leaders including world leaders like the Prime Minister of Canada are marching and speaking with the people directly.
45* is “inspecting” the White House emergency bunker, calling on the military to dispelled the protesters (that have refused to do so) and hiding in a fenced off dark building that belongs to the people like the coward that he is.

There are tons of things he could do, zero that he will — besides gassing some more protesters to hold up a book he has never read while his cult screams maga...

He reminds of someone else that cowardly hid during his final days...

 

Obama was always a target as well, but he did a gut check and put himself out there to reassure people. Trump is still Mr. Bone Spurs. It's a difference in style.

 

So what you're saying is that the President should put himself in a hostile environment, with a hostile threat to 'reassure' people. And let's say a Reagan had happened, would the country be in mourning? Would we condemn the assassination attempt? Something tells me, far more people would cheer then I'd hope in this once civilized country.

 

These protests are pointless. Don't they understand this does nothing but make things worse? I guess that is what they want.

Notably, you didn't answer the question on whether you'd condemn an attempted hit on the President or not. I'll start: Not only would I condemn such a hit, but it would be akin to treason(not hyperbole this time, the real deal.) and would want him(or her if it's a female assassin) put to death as an example.
