SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. — Crowds of protesters began gathering at 8 a.m. on a cold, cloudy Saturday. They’d come to see Nazis. But, two hours later, there were still no Nazis.

Around 10:30 a.m., one of the organizers of the counterprotest grabbed a microphone and began taunting the handful of rally goers who had just shown up across the street.

“Some master race,” he snickered. “Can’t even show up on time.”

Local residents and leaders spent most of the week anxiously wondering how many would travel the rural highway that snakes south from Nashville over Christmas Creek into Shelbyville for a “White Lives Matter” rally planned by several national white supremacist groups.

As a white man you have privileges you take for granted. Minorities and women are held to a higher standard. If they fail at something their whole race or gender is brought into it.

A terrorist group.. BOL!! Really? Their movement is simple to understand. They aren't saying they are better, or more important than anyone else.. All they are asking for is to be treated equally. When unarmed, or non-threatening black people get killed by the police, those officers, or whoever shot them, need to be held accountable. I saw it first hand as a kid that another little kid (trayvon martin), who was just walking home minding his own business, was killed and then demonized by the right ring media. When you watch things like that take place it changes your perspective. People were really donating money to support someone who murdered an innocent little kid because the people they listened to painted him as a "thug". Anyone who did so is going straight to hell. The person who shot him was the one who had a violent past, but they swept it under the rug. It does take guts to speak the truth against evil. You don't have any guts and need to look in the mirror my friend.
