But having immigrant roots isn't the same thing as being an immigrant yourself, now is it? So changing "immigrants" to "immigrant roots" is a clear moving of goalposts.

Cultural diversity is a weakness.

What makes a nation strong is CULTURAL COHESION. Not colour, not ethnicity, not place of birth .. but CULTURE. If you're not all on the same page, you're in chaos. You were a strong nation when all your peoples, of every colour, were more or less unified and did not submit to incompatible cultures.

That is sad. You realise that a person of Chinese (for example) ancestry can be just as German as you? If they were born there, sound exactly like you, behave themselves, and respect German culture as much as you do .. why would you have a problem with that? I know people who fall into this category .. and they are not interested in race. They are interested only in culture. Cultural supremacists, if you will. They don't care what kind of damned suntan you have, as long as you live and behave in keeping with the abiding culture.

OK I guess I misunderstood your meaning. When you say "diversity is our strength" you are not actually arguing for diversity, only more labor units to increase economic output at a lower labor cost by the labor market reducing the value of labor.
