Who are the "scientific community"?

You do realize that isn't the only time he has discussed aliens? now, I'm not going to spend time looking on youtube for the video in which he said aliens don't exist because we're not dead, however he deduced the idea in the video I posted.

Hawking is a terrible philosopher and everything that comes out of his mouth isn't fact, knowledge or wisdom.

Don't get me wrong he has every right to have an opinion but a lot of his opinions are straight up stupid... However a lot of people take his opinions seriously because he is Hawking... So what? Ben Carson is a pioneer in brain surgery and no one takes his political opinions seriously... Yet Hawking speaks with his robot thing and it's all of a sudden some sort of magic thought?

What I realize is how pointless it would be to spend time looking for something that he never said.

My only interest is what he said verbatim;
not what someone "thinks" he said.

 

First of all he did say it, he also said it was important to look for intelligent extraterrestrial life anyway despite the fact he believe they would kill us all..

Hawking's logic is (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up.... If you want to follow him like Jesus then go ahead - that's cool but don't expect me not to have an opinion when he says stupid (*)(*)(*)(*)...

Just because he's good at numbers doesn't mean he is any more logical than anyone else.

IMO, numbers people do way more harm to science than they do good.....

Of course math, logic and philosophy are all different ideas, he sucks at the latter two because his world is numbers...
