I noticed things about my country, my town, my city; compared to Amsterdam, NL, the only other EU country/place I've stayed... Is that; My country, is the country (this was June 2016 a week or so before the referendum vote/I was on the continent thinking about my own EU future) is the only country that cares about the EU.

I can remember from a young age, the EU and the people here dispute things, from the weight of fruit to the shape of ****ing bananas.
    But I wonder.. After Brexit...

Who can the UK blame for our problems once out of the EU?
Will there be anything to complain about and a need to blame or, will things be okay again?
Who will we blame once we're out of the EU?

My money's on Corbyn. lol kidding.

I've liked post-referendum Britain. Beforehand we had consensus politics and blanket support for neoliberalism. Following Brexit the fear was that it would further demand that outcome, with Remoaners voting Lib Dem and Labour rejecting Corbyn. The opposite seems more fitting. Brexit has unleashed the Left and hamstrung the Right, as shown by UKIP destruction without subsequent Tory gain.

Thank Jaysus for Brexit! (at least for now)

Don't you mean 'thank Allah'? Brexit united the white supremacists against all foreigners. Lucky there were no monkeys around during the Brexit campaign.

What sort of vacuous comment is this? Brexit united nothing. For example, many Brexiteers were supporters of Tony Benn and alien to any Little England rhetoric.

Please make sense next time or send a comment to someone else. Cheers!

I guess it's time for Brits to blame other things.

Alas this thread sees Brits blaming foreigners and Brits blaming Brits it seems...

We love to blame someone and throughout our history, it's been the continent.
Who can we blame after we exit the EU?

My money is on us blaming the EU for everything after we leave much the same as we already do, or that so many people blame it all on America and so on.

All 33 of them, together again.
Fired up their ovens and went out and rounded up a few million.

Oooo Brexit has awoken the bogeyman. I am scared.
