    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH476CxJxfg"]Daniel Powter - Bad Day (Video) - YouTube[/ame]

We all have 'em, it's what you make of them that counts! Find the shiny good among all the bad. Enjoy!

well , I woke up this morning , didn't feel good , had some rather intense chest pains , but they passed , and it was a beautiful day here in WNC , the Fall colors shinning brightly , I sat on the porch and enjoyed the sun on my shoulders with several cups of mighty fine Dunkin Donuts Coffee ,,, but I still remembered the early morning chest pains ,,, that's why I'm still up at 1 AM , I'm scared to go to bed . it 's a silly thing , I guess , but it's still scarry , ya know ? I'm not having any chest pains now , but I'm still scared , can anyone relate ? You may recall I (*)(*)(*)(*) near died this time last year , and I'm really trying to do what the doctors tell me to do , and I'm ready to cross over if it comes to that , but it's still a worrisome thing to contemplate , and I'd not want to leave my Family so soon , they still need me , ya know ?

I think that the best thing in the whole wide world is for a person to be needed , even if it's just to repair a lousy leaking kitchen faucet , ya know ?

so , here I sit , at my pc , with the phone ready to dial 911 , and I'm ready , my friends , I'm scarred , (*)(*)(*)(*) near terrified , but I'm leaning on the promises of my God and my Savior Jesus Christ , so I'm here now , typing this to you , but I can't promise you that I'll be here tomorrow ... but I sure hope I am .

If I'm here tomorrow , I'll give thanks to God for another day ...

no doubt many will take me to task for what I have said in this post if I live through this night ,,, and perhaps condolences to my family if I die , but I don't care , I have spoken honestly and I have spoken what is in my soul to pass on to you .

Every day is a gift , my friends , tell the people you Love that you Love them. every day , tell them , hug them , Love them... :sun:

    HB - severe chest pains?
Did your left arm feel numb?
Please tell me you have dialed 911 just to be safe.

I expect to hear back from you on what the doc said.

HB, last time I had chest pain, two years ago, I was online, posting. I posted that I was going to hospital and 20 minutes later was in the back of an ambulance.

If you have chest pain, call the ambulance. You can never be too sure - and you should take extra precautions especially if you already have a pre existing heart condition.

yep , thanks be to ambulances , I know what you mean , whew , not a call that anyone wants to have to make ... is it ? whew .

I'm back home , the docs changed my meds , and I'm still alive . whew ..

It's inresting that you was posting when you had your chest pains , so was I .

I got several notifications that someone from Arizona had tried to Pffish my bank accounts , and that put me in attack mode , ( you know how I am ) and I was ready to drive to Arizona and kick some arse , looking forward to it , actually ,,, and instead , I would up going to the hospital .... and that's what brought it on , my anger raised my heart rate to a level that really stressed it to the max , and I just can't handle that like I used to when I was a younger man .

They ripped me off $159.00 before my banks security program stopped them from getting any more , so I'm glad of that , but when I get able , I'm gonna get that money back , or carve a $159.0 chunk out of their low-down , sorry thieing arse with my 'ear-collector' bowie knife from my 'Nam' days, and laugh in their face while I'm doing it ... I despise a (*)(*)(*)(*)n thief ... If they'd have asked me for the money , I'd have given it to them ,,, but stealing from a hillbilly is about like admitting / saying that you're tired of living .. they's some folks that it just don't pay to fuk with ...

Wow , I'm geting all worked up , better stop ...

but thanks for caring , Mak , I appreciate it . hug . Dan

How about the past 3 weeks...one day at a time? :angered: I moved and Centurylink hooked up someone (only God knows where) with my phone and internet couldn't be self activated.

They finally found the problem. I just wanted to strangle someone. Qwest and Centurylink are so messed up. I hate to see how my first bill looks like. I still cannot get set up on their website.

My days have been bad because I can't function without internet.

Thanks, I agree, we're all in this together and I believe although we may disagree on how to get there, most of us want the same things.

Yes. Every time a good song comes out, it gets flogged until it dies, then flogged some more.

[IMG] Mauri , as bad as it is , and it sure sounds bad , just thank your lucky stars you ain't on AT&T , because it'd take 5 more months to get it straightened out.

I don't know how it happened , or why it happened , but it seems that anywhere one moves to , the phone company is about as sorry a bunch as you have to deal with ,,, they couldn't find their arse with both hands if they was being read the instructions ....you never talk to the same person twice ,,, and it's just one screw-up after another , and to add insult to injury , every time I've called them , I'll listen to some BS message for 3 minutes giving me a bunch of (*)(*)(*)(*)n options , and then inbetween those options AT&T customers listen to and endless tirade of ' your call is very important to us , a AT&T represnative will be with you shortly ' :frustrated:

and this is my favorite : " We are experiencing a heavy call load at the current time , select option 47 , and a rep will call you back in the order your call was recieved , and again , we appreciate your business and value you as a customer "

Bullshiott ,,, you got a better chance winning the lotto than you do have getting that 'call back' ...

I hope that makes you feel better .... [IMG] I was just trying to help ..[IMG]

I had another bad day because everyone is running around trying to get everything all perfect for the 'big visit' on Friday. This is when a bunch of people spend all day at the store and check out how we make things and our procedures etc. We are getting the garden done and everything painted and cleaned, its just ridiculous. We don't need all that done, its not like they'll go outside and complain because there is a chip in the paint.

Bloody hell, I'll be glad when its freaking over,

Mak , [IMG] surely you know by now that BOSS spelled backwards is a double SSOB , and that's two of them ... and it's the same anywhere in the world you may find yourself in , so get ought there and paint that chip in the paint and be a team player , ya know , make the boss look good ... :)

Yes, I called them to see when my credit will show up on my credit card. They finally got it to me today. Ugh. Thanks Hillbilly. You are swell. I guess I am grateful today. The thing is that good/great customer service is getting to be a thing of the past and they just want to move on or bury their heads and put a person on hold 10 times to solve the simplest problems.

Mak, this too shall pass. I heard that at a meeting one time with my x husband and it's a good one to remember.

My day was crappy because the ground is muddy outside and it's like mush. It can stop raining anytime now. It makes me sleepy!

Well, we have had the 'Big Visit' and it probably went well. I finished at 12pm after starting at 4.30am. Everyone was there, even the managers of other stores and the store owner. My boss was running around like a headless chook and even admitted she hadn't slept in three days. I think my boss is pretty silly to forgo her heath and worry about some person coming to watch us cook.

I'm glad I didn't have to stay any longer than I did. I would have gotten so pissed off.
