Education is a tool, no more and no less and like any other tool it can be used for good or ill.

The 30 Billionaires who fund the Warren campaigns would line up on the Warren side. The Manhattan elite have always looked down their noses at the kid from the Queens who had no business sharing the stature of being wealthy.

Oooh Please. Trump is no Horatio Alger story.
The Billionaire class of New York comes from all walks of life: some inherited a fortune (leonard lauder, alain wertheimer), some got a step up (rupert murdoch, ), and some are completely self made (michale bloomberg, Len blavatnik)
Many of them are, on paper 'outsiders' (bloomberg a jew from boston, Icahn a jew from the Rockaways). Trump is not accepted, because he is a major ******bag. Still gobsmacked that God fearing red state americans have such a hard on for a guy who is areligious, amoral, and other than his presidential gig has never invested in the heartland of America, and probably barely ever been there, a germophobe who looks down on everyone.

Yeah, I lived in Queens, through 1965. Went to PS 188. I know The Donald didn't go to the same school because there was only 1 kid in a class of 31 who wasn't Jewish and had to go to school on the high holy days. He was Catholic and his name was John. Like I said, The Donald was an outsider ,,, but like Bloomberg, he had a stake. Bloomberg got his $10M stake from shares in a company he was laid off from. Trump got his from his father.

Red state Americans? You don't like people in the states that have the highest proportion of African Americans? People, despite not knowing them, you hold in contempt. I bet you also identify as a Liberal. I can tell by the slobbering hatred that is so obvious in your post.

LOL. Yeah being given millions by your dad is EXACTLY the same thing as someone starting with nothing earning millions in shares as a senior partner (that job wasn't handed to him).

As for your Red State reaction, I am not sure where you get that from. Red state/Blue state is used in common parlance to denote states that vote majority republican or majority democrat. Many of the red state voters have defined themselves as value voters. Many of them espoused the view that "character matters". I don't see that coming through anymore. I defy you to find any post here where I speak condescendingly of states in the manner that right wingers do (ie Palin's "real america" comments or just a few months ago some repub writing off New York as not a real part of America).

And as to you bringing in race. Wow is all I have to say.
