There have been conflicting studies. It is not as simple as just what you eat. People who are vegan are probably less likely to smoke which probably accounts for some of the difference.
Fair to Middlin' question.There are drawbacks to both.Meat eaters have to deal with the way meat is processed { use of feed with antibiotics added } Plus the dreaded MSM { cancer causing preservative } and possible lactic acid. Vegetarians may be shorting their body on needed protein & FAT.A Human cannot live w/o fat.Hunters stranded in the winter wilderness with only rabbits to eat can face death from Protein Poisoining.meaning the body is depleted of Fat while digesting mostly protein.The Liver and Kidneys cannot effectively metabolize too much protein w/o a correct balance of fat. Rabbit meat is Very high in protein and low in Fat. Vegetarians have diets which are low fat and often low protein as well. That can cause problems.A balanced diet is the best. Any Questions ... then read some Jack Lalanne { Godfather of Fitness & Nutrition }
Yeah I heard tell about one them Vag eaters.I think it was in that movie : - The Killer Shrews - { 1959 } The egghead was consuming too many martini's with white Olives. The white olives were called " vags ".
Our genes decide how long we live.... Vegetarians can be extremely unhealthy and so can meat eaters that eat bloody meat... Truth is anyone can drop dead at any moment.. Weather you're a young pro athlete, or a 80-year-old overweight man that has been smoking for 65 years... We go when we go..... I think it's important to have a balanced diet...
