The new Babylon is New York City. In Revelations chapter 18 it describes Babylon as the place where all the kings of the world and all the merchants of the world gather together. The only place that could be is where the WORLD TRADE CENTER and the UNITED NATIONS are. And all the kings and merchants cry when it's totally destroyed.

1st in the Bible the number seven is generally code for all of or the completeness there of not an actual number. John was righting to churches that were around as he was writing. He didn't use an exact number for two reasons. One, given that a new church was starting somewhere on a daily basis, he probably didn't know what the exact number was himself and god didn't see fit to tell him, and two that was information that the authorities at the time would have dearly liked to have known. And neither God nor John saw any reason to enlighten them.

Another interesting thing the mark of the beast isn't a number inscribed on your flesh but an attitude inscribed in one's heart.

They started out as worshippers of Gygez, Murduch, and Moloch, then evolved into the Babylonian sun worship. moon worship...all manner of GODs until they condensed it down to just Allah. They were in league with the Assyrians(Muslims also)

You're link says NOTHING about Islam or Muslims and I've already demonstrated that the chief deity worshipped by the Babylonians was the god of the Earth, not the moon or sun.

Where is you evidence that Muslims were Babylonians or Assyrians? You are making the claim, you provide the evidence.

 

The only place you will find it written is in the bible, just like the census that never happened. These two things would have been immense events, and they are unheard of anywhere except in your holy book. Nowhere in all the written documents that have survived have either of these two things ever appeared, except in the bible.

It was in Rome, as Revelation (not Revelations) was written as a way of comforting the contemporary reader at the time, not meant as a prophecy of things to come thousands of years in the future. The code and symbolism was easily recognized by the target audience, and not recognizable to the authorities, which was important as it was a scathing indictment of Rome and her emperors.
Whoever John was who wrote the book would be thoroughly bemused by the incredible ego demonstrated by todays readers, pathetically twisted by Darby's childlike reading of the book into a generation convinced that it's all about them.
