The answer is simple, because Russia is not a free country and its "rulers" do not want a strong and powerful state, rather they need a weak dwarf who allow him to steal Russian money and to hide it in foreign banks.
Any protest get silenced, every oppositional get beating, imprisonment or killing. Moreover most of well-educated people, scientist have already leaved this unhappy country, there are only few people who can indeed be called a specialist.I'm afraid it is to late to change anything, no one discussion can stop the process of Russian downfall.

I doesn't know that Russia was always like that, that's sad...
But, I thought this country is really more free than before, in USSR, for exemple; I think that it will continue to be better and better, with more of liberty for them!...

The elections in USSR were for example more free and fair as Putin's ones. There are thousands of killed oppositions in Putin's Russia now, in USSR after Stalin as well-known extremely few. USSR was a State, Putin's Russia is a Mafia State without any law, freedom and independent courts. The Future of Putin's Russia is only own: degradation and disappearance.

The election on election day was very clean. Video cameras were in almost all of the polling stations & connected to the internet so everyone could monitor the election for violations that wanted to. The ballot boxes were also transparent. The results were totally fair.

The real thing is Putin has more than 60 %. But there are people which always are dissatisfied. And there are people which want to get an authority but have no support in society. They organize demonstrations or actions of the type "Occupy Abay". But the most interesting thing is these guys even together are not able to get 2-3 % at elections. They shout about democracy but do not want to respect the choice of the majority.

No one genuine opposition party is allow to run in Putin's "elections", before the last "elections" most of dissent parties e.g. PARNAS were kicked out by Kremlin. The majority of Russia is against Kremlin and Putin knows it, otherwise he would not go in almost empty Moscow on his "inauguration". OMON and Police have cleaned the entirely Moscow's Center because Putin afraid assassination.

I understand that the CIA-Freedom House candidate intentionally disqualified himself by using internet signatures instead of only hand written signatures as required by Russian law & ended up without the required number of signatures on his candidacy application form when he realized he would be embarrassed by the election results & then claimed to be cheated. The results of the election were fair.:judge:

Only two days of coming Revolution in Russia would be enough to have hundreds of new candid leaders. Russia has already thousands of unknown leaders who will became famous after Putin's dictatorship fail.Almost every third internet resource in russian language speaks about protests and likely revolution.

If Russia want to became strong again it must stop to drink too much alcohol. Look, the USSR, you are drinking Vodka, that's wrong. Where is the Russian Church, why it can not fight alcoholism? Therefore Russia need lots of Fundamentalist American Churches who can save the Russian moral and health.

well, comrade Bender8) that will continue in my view as long as this administration is in charge. The corruption is really killing Russia. Crime is blooming. And our science and industry mostly suck. Oligarchs, top officials, top criminals prosper while most part of Russian ppl suffer a bleak existence. Of course this is not only our sort of problem. I suppose the corruption and crime are really global problems. But our bastrds are definitely at the top of the world corrupt ladder.

cool story, comrade8) Remember KPSS, one candidate from only party. well, fair enough 8) The USSR was pretty hard country. Take the 'war communism', fing 'gulag' etc. And that ruling party 'united russia' is just KPSS light lmao)))

Ostap never match their words with facts. His words are easy to refute. When this happens, he runs to complain about the administration. It's fun! He always goes out of the conversation as a "whipped dog" when his words denied. That was before. This ishappening now. Nothing has changed. :whisper:

Yep, but Putin's "state" is at the top, because it is practically a Mafia State.
