Why are tattoos still so popular?

There is a fortune to be made by finding a way to safely and effectively remove these grotesque defamations.

As for baseball caps, backwards never had a more clear example.

My tattoos tell a story of my military service and patriotism to my country. I think a tat should have some personal meaning, and not selected from a book in a tat studio. I don’t care to see a tat on a woman, it detracts from her beauty. Yeah, people can post pics of hot tatted chicks, but they would be hotter without them. That’s just my opinion and I am entitled to it.
I don’t wear a hat very often, I wear a hard hat at work all day and it really messes up your hairdo. I keep mine short so it doesn’t matter. My coworkers will put on a hat after work just to cover up the mess sweating under a hard hat makes but don’t like/need the bill it their way. I wear a hat duck hunting and backward most of the time. I need to camouflage my head with something and a hat does the trick, I only wear it bill forward to block the sun from my eyes, but it also cuts down on seeing birds above. Soon as the sun isn’t trying to burn out my retina anymore, it gets flipped backward.

I knew someone that had a W Tattooed on both butt cheeks so went he bent over and spread his cheeks it said WOW.

This is a memory I really wish I could have erased.

I can't comment on the USA but in the EU use a decent tattoo artist there is almost 0 risk of infection but it costs good money.

You get what you pay for.

I've never had the desire to get tattooed. I've never hired a hooker, either.

    I'm not very adventurous.

Indeed, you do get what you pay for! With good health insurance coverage, you can get a three-month prescription of Harvoni that should provide about a 90% - 98% chance of being able to cure Hepatitis-C.
It would only cost about $80,000, plus the doctor's office visits, plus liver biopsy, lab results, etc., etc.

[IMG]. "So, like, EIGHTY-THOUSAND DOLLARS...right? So, like, how long do I live without the Harvoni...?" :skull:

Correction -- WITH good health insurance, your 'out-of-pocket' expense for the three-month prescriptions of Harvoni, doctor office visits, lab tests, liver biopsy, etc. would probably only be about $3,500 - $5,500. That's a bargain! So, yeah, go get all the tats you like.

Hey, then, if you are infected with Hepatitis-C from getting the tattoos (and you realize that you've contracted the disease, in time), take the Harvoni treatment regimen, and if you're fortunate, you won't need a liver transplant! Hey, this just gets better and better!

When I was young the only people with tattoos were the carnival workers. Now it's the "in" thing but tattoos will go the way of the pocket watch. You could trade your pocket watch for a wrist watch but you are stuck with your tats. Stupid is as stupid does and you can't fix stupid.
