You can't blame this on Clinton. You had how many qualified candidates to choose from in the primaries? Over a dozen, was it? Yet you chose Trump. Why did you settle on Trump? Because, as Alek said, he "hates the right people". Brown people.

The DNC cleaned your clocks in 2018. I don't expect 2020 to be any different. Things certainly won't get any better for Trump. It's very likely they will be far, far worse.

Or bumps on the skull. Sadly, your analysis is probably right. And yet, there are valid reasons to oppose Trump and his band of deplorables. It is the height of folly to put someone with narcissistic personality disorder in charge of the strongest military on Earth. That's really playing with fire. We've avoided a catastrophe so far...

Don't forget--blame the Russians too while you're at it. No angry rant would be complete without blaming the Russians for all that's wrong with the world and the country.

It could NEVER be our own fault.

Sorry, but the DNC rigged their own primary to anoint HRC whose main claim to fame was marrying Bill Clinton. They both are corrupt to the core.

As far as swallowing and hook line and sinker, enjoy the spoon feeding from the DNC.

Democrats say the exact same thing about Democrats. "Taking crap" for Americans seems to consist of being willing to even discuss matters

You seemed to have missed my Jim Webb reference. Had Webb won the DNC nomination, we may have not have Trump. Yet, the DNC colluded and rigged their own primary to anoint HRC.

    My guy was Webb.

Yet, the DNC presented the voters with a sheet sandwich.

Why did you settle for HRC? Why did you vote for her?

The DNC rigged the Primary to give the Democrats a better chance of winning the election, which is their reason for being. Sanders has good ideas but he should never have taken on that "Democratic Socialist" name. He will be another George McGovern if he runs

So you are on board with a political party making the choice for you, instead of allowing the process to be decided by the voters in the primaries?

What was that fish on a hook thing you mentioned?

Bernie was lucky they even let him in. He's not a Democrat, you know. The DNC had every right to tell him to go pound sand. But I agree with you that the deck was stacked against Bernie, and that if we had gone with Webb, he almost certainly would have won. Hillary's big problem, as usual, was that she was married to Bill. She never could hammer Trump with Access Hollywood because Bill was always "lurking in the shadows".

I had hoped it would be Bernie. I voted for Clinton because I had known about Trump for a long time before this. It's not like he was an unknown commodity. He was an amoral corrupt narcissistic playboy (I omit "moron" because he really didn't seem all that dumb back in the day. I think his age is catching up to him). That's fine and all if you're a real estate developer and not hurting anyone except your dumbass Trump U "students". It's not fine if you're President, as we're seeing now.

I understand why people voted for Trump. Our system has failed a great many people, and done so without a backward glance. What I don't understand is why people continue to support him when it is completely obvious now that he's unfit to be President. My theory is that this is all ego-driven and A) people HATE to admit they might have made a mistake as big as putting an incompetent buffoon in the Whitehouse. That has to be a tough pill to swallow. And B) as long as Trump keeps his core belief "brown people bad", many of his supporters will forgive him anything, because the rapid demographic changes that are happening are terrifying to them.

Milo Yannopolis used to call Trump "daddy". I think there's a lot of his supporters that see him that way. That's utterly baffling to me.

IMO I think political parties are a major reason; they've help to polarize this nation. In some aspects it's like belonging to a sports team; which team do you think is better and more popular, the other side is the "enemy" mentality. It's too bad things have to be like this.

Whether we like it or not, Trump is POTUS and as such, I want anyone in that position to succeed for the interests of the US and Americans. Perhaps not necessarily supporting him, per see, but supporting him in the role as POTUS.

IWe can argue/debate unfit, egos, and what succeed means, but until the DNC presents a truly viable candidate, the talking point of orange man bad will remain.

I don't think it's his age. I think he is tired, people have been lying about him and attacking him since his first day in office, before actually. I think he is burnt up all all he has left is his defensive, lashing out personality.

I wanted Trump to succeed, esp. with regard to trade and infrastructure. I hoped (naively) the Presidency would change him. It's been clear for awhile he's unfit, and you can say "orange man bad" all you want, but in the end we're left with the fact Trump is unfit to be President. And now he's committed a crime. He went on TV and asked Red China to investigate his political opponent. What can you do OTHER than impeach him at that point? Would Obama have been impeached over that? Of course he would have.

For God's sake man, look at the woman's actual record, stop letting the Republican calumny blind you. She's never exactly set the world afire, that's true, but considering what is in there now that's a good thing.

Why did you vote for Trump?

I'm a white male, a registered Republican half of my voting life, now Independent, and Obama NEVER insulted me at all. All of this outrage from Obama haters was really just racism, plain and simple. All he had to do was identify with a dead young black man, to set the right off on a mindless rampage. I sat there watching people lose their minds over NOTHING. The only understandable complaint was the forced cost of a health care tax.

The real causes are Rush Limbaugh and hate radio, Hannity and Fox Noise, and total nut jobs like Alex Jones. They have been polluting what's left of righty minds with drivel, for decades - long before Obama ever came along.

Here we see Alex Jones crying for the "human-fish babies". And you have the nerve to call CNN fake news? The right wingers are literally out of their minds from years of ridiculous brainwashing like this. SHOW ME ANYTHING on CNN or MSNBC that comes close. And why do you ignore this and talk about actual news? Do you even know the difference?

In all fairness he wasn't given the opportunity to do anything other than defend himself against false charges.

Which is fine by me this country needs very little done by it's government . In lots of cases government accomplishments go bad for half thr country. I like government stalemate.

Funny, coming from someone who supports a political party rigging their own primary.

Her record goes back decades and it is deplorable. The only she did was ride her sexual predator husband’s coattails. Any Blue Dog Democrat can see that. Repub and political party affiliation has no bearing on viewing candidates objectively.

Again, had Jim Webb been the DNC candidate, this exchange here would be mute and moot.

We are a divided Nation primarily because there is a struggle as to how much individual liberty we are allowed to keep in this Nation. That coupled with the fact others want to deny personal responsibility and give that to the government. Giving government power over our responsibility, removes the liberty so many have fought to keep.

He is only alone in "fueling division" because he fights back. Democrats haven't had that happen since the Civil War and they aren't used to it!

My only current problems with ss are.
    1. It's a poor return on investment.
    2. It's funds need to be untouchable by congressional spendthrifts.

We should be a divided nation; it's merely Nature taking its natural course.

that’s silly. Why there may actually be people who don’t know how to do anything but hate Trump there are also many people who don’t know how to do anything but worship Trump. And then there are the independents who will probably decide the next election.
