In the entire united states, there are only five states that prohibit the open carry of firearms. Those are the states of California, Illinois, New York, South Carolina, and Florida. In the other forty five states o f the untied states, the open carrying of firearms is a legal practice, and one cannot be prosecuted for doing such. There are no federal laws that prohibit the open carrying of firearms. The majority of the country has concluded that there is no threat to be had in the act. It is yourself that is the outlier in this particular matter, not those that actually carry firearms openly. Get over it.
He's an idiot and a clown. My interaction with the military has shown me that MOST of those who rise above the rank of Lieutenant Colonel do so only through knowing the tactical application of what to kiss, whose to kiss, and when to kiss it. McChrystal showed he didn't even know when not to do it, so he was promoted far above his capabilities. His utter ignorance about the reality of firearms is clear in the comments he makes in that video.
