The best conspiracy theory I love is the one that cost us 5,000 tropps lives, injured many more, cost $3 trillion, and killed many civilians of another country all on the thought that Iraq had WMDs. Good thing we aren't going to make that mistake again and follow blindly into yet another conspiracy theory of a muslim country getting WMDs....Oh wait, yes we are. But yet Ron Paul followers are the crazy tin foil hat nut cases.

Oh, I got another one. Gay amrriages will bring down America. That is another great conspiracy.

Or the one that our Military is adversly affected when Homosexuals can sever, openly or still "in te closet". Fun conspiracys, wonder if they are proven true or false? Must be those loony Libertarians again...uh, nope.

You obviously have no taste for exaggeration. But like many here, you just can't miss an opportunity to vomit insults.

How about the conspiracy of, If we don't have military bases around the world that house less than a tenth of our strength, China or Russia will just come in and take over and make everyone slaves. So we must keep our bases in Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Guam, Great Britian, Philipenes, Iceland, Spain, Afghan, Saudi, Turkey, Australia, Belguim and so on.

It is so great that we are providing all these places with our tax dollars by paying the troops there who spend their paychecks in those countries economy.

Wonder if that conspiracy is true or false?

Exactly. Claim these conspiracies, then accuse others of doing the same. Just another day in the office for the right.

Pretty sad when facts are "fairy tales" to you.

Page from the GOPs progressives playbook, "Copy Cass Sunstiens way of dealing with negative information by calling them 'conspiracy theories', even if they prove to be true. Then denounce Cass Sunstien as a crazy socialist".

Progressives to the left of me, Progressives to the right, Oh here I am in the middle with you.

He knows the truth, just doesn't want to face the fact that his accusations of these theories being "lunacy" are part of the collective ostrich syndrome.

Yes, Silicon, we are evidently far more informed than you. :flame:

    I am on the right.
    I support Ron Paul.
I hate conspiracy theorists. I hate truthers. I hate birthers. I hate all of those who are prone to believe any half cocked web of possibilities and call them "facts" and build more fantastic possibilities on their backs. Any plot line which puts the government as the bad guy will be consumed. I can't stand it.

That doesn't mean conspiracies have not or do not happen. Some incredibly powerful groups do deserve a bit of eyebrow raising.

Also... I don't think some of you understand the difference between conspiracy and prediction.

To predict that gay marriage or gays in the military will be bad for those institutions is not conspiracy theory. It is a prediction.

Groups DO conspire to effect outcomes of the political machines. We actually have several covert agencies designed specifically for this purpose... so... I am a little lost by the OP.

Is it the opinion of those who do not like Ron Paul that the world is transparent?

They can think outside the box, and they don't often buyinto propaganda by the culture that creates it.
