Many on the right seem to have a genuine dislike for Bill Clinton, and I can't seem to figure out why. It may be due to the fact that I was so young during Clinton's presidency, not following his administration while it was ongoing, but I honestly do not understand why this is the case and was hoping people here could shed some light on this subject. First off, I would consider myself a moderate libertarian with slight right-leaning positions. As I have grown older and experienced more I have come to where I am now, and have come to respect the ideas of conservative minds. However, dislike of Clinton seems to be based mainly on the scandal with Monica Lewinsky. Under Clinton's administration the economy grew substantially, and he left office with a large surplus in America's coffers. He swiftly took care of the troubles in the Balkans and helped improve US foreign relations with a number of countries. Please help me understand the criticisms of the right against Clinton, he seems like he was a fine president to me.
Unpatriotic Republicans hate it when patriotic Democrats fix up the economy which had been messed up by the GOP. That's why they also hate Obama.
Then you must hate Trump who has a civil lawsuit against him for sexual abuse and whose former wives accused him of sexual deviations.
The civil lawsuit that was already dismissed without merit and refiled somewhere else where it will be dismissed--is this the lawsuit of which you speak? What consenting adults do to get their freak on doesn't bother me so much. and I have contempt for everybody else. They are all beneath me. That is what makes me a progressive.
So the left is trying to "Cosby" him huh? Cosby or Cain, its pretty standard to find women who will bring sexual allegations against someone on the left who gets out of line. Bill actually has raped and paid off his accusers. He even took trips down to rapist island with his pedophile friend on his private jet. Other things include how Bill and Hillary take bribes for political favors. And taking credit for a GOP congress budget and the dot com bubble when he had nothing to do with it, more like he fought the GOP all the way to shutting down the government cause of their budget proposal. It wasn't like Bill actually called for a cut in spending.
Clinton and his wife are still married. Trump has been repeatedly divorced and is married to a pornographer.
We may have read a certain article as far back as 1999.... and we may have gotten a little suspicious as to who all was close to President Clinton while he was President. Google... The Clinton List... and read between the lines.
None of his accusers have made their claims into political issues. As for the rest of your rant against the Clintons, none of you on the far right have yet to prove anything against them.
I was fine with Bill Clinton until he and Hillary endorsed Barack Obama after Obama and the DNC and the Mainstream Media colluded to steal the 2008 primaries. What bothered me about Bill and Hillary turning around and endorsing Obama was that it showed a combined contempt for the U.S.A. Barack was UNQUALIFIED to be president in times of multiple national and international problems of great significance, and they both knew that, and yet for political reasons they were willing to sacrifice the nation anyway. Other people have other reasons to despise Bill Clinton; but that's mine.
Low moral character, and his support for gun control. After the Republicans took over in 1994, though, he was a pretty good President, again, besides his low moral character. The only reason the economy grew is because of the combination of Bill Clinton and the Republican Congress. It was a great combination, because he was willing to compromise. I don't see compromise in Hillary or Trump, and Trump has an even weaker moral character than Bill. Hillary, in addition, always seems to have scandal around her. She either attracts it or she causes it. Regardless, she's not fit for the Presidency nor is Trump.
Clinton signed the so - called Assault Weapon Ban. Anybody that would attack the Second Amendment is a traitor. That is what he is and is always will be. Since he and his squaw want to live under an Australian type gun ban, they should move there.
Who's accusers? Clintons? Yes they did, or do you not remember Bill being impeached? For the rest of my claims, they are facts and records prove it. I didn't say Bill partook in the rape island activities, but there are definitely evidence that he went there. The part about the budget is all documented as well, he didn't want the cuts the GOP proposed, that's why he shut down the government. You are the typical leftist who sticks their fingers in their ears and says, "if I cant hear you, it cant be true". http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2015/01/jeffrey-epstein-sex-scandal-victim-bill-clinton/
Only committed partisan followers and the corrupt political class "like" the Clintons. Many are paid well to like them. Myers: Had you, that morning, or any other time, given him any reason to believe you might be receptive? Broaddrick: No. None. None whatsoever. Myers: Then what happens? Broaddrick: Then he tries to kiss me again. And the second time he tries to kiss me he starts biting my lip (she cries). Just a minute... He starts to, um, bite on my top lip and I tried to pull away from him. (crying) And then he forces me down on the bed. And I just was very frightened, and I tried to get away from him and I told him No, that I didnt want this to happen (crying) but he wouldnt listen to me. Myers: Did you resist, did you tell him to stop? Broaddrick: Yes, I told him Please dont. He was such a different person at that moment, he was just a vicious awful person. Myers: You said there was a point at which you stopped resisting? Broaddrick: Yeah. Myers: Why? Broaddrick: It was a real panicky, panicky situation. I was even to the point where I was getting very noisy, you know, yelling to Please stop. And thats when he pressed down on my right shoulder and he would bite my lip. Broaddrick also says the waist of her skirt and her pantyhose were torn. Juanita Broaddrick: When everything was over with, he got up and straightened himself, and I was crying at the moment and he walks to the door, and calmly puts on his sunglasses. And before he goes out the door he says You better get some ice on that. And he turned and went out the door. Myers: On your lip? Broaddrick: Yeah. Broaddrick estimates Clinton was in her room less than 30 minutes. Myers: Is there any way at all that Bill Clinton could have thought that this was consensual? Broaddrick: No. Not with what I told him, and with how I tried to push him away. It was not consensual. Myers: Youre saying that Bill Clinton sexually assaulted you, that he raped you. Broaddrick: Yes. Dateline NBC Transcript, Lisa Meyers, NBC News. [Transcript taken from: Clinton in fact raped Juanita Wall Street Journal piece, Feb. 19, 1999] http://shadowgov.com/Clinton/DNBCJuanitaTranscript.html You have to really work on the whole "Double Think" thing to actually like Clinton.
Impeached, not convicted. As for White Water - a total waste of $100 million in dollars stolen by the Republican crooks in Congress. They are the ones who should have been impeached, indicted, and arrested for their thievery.
I used to think he was pretty cool back before I knew anything about politics when I was a kid. I think he kept a more moderate stance than his wife will though.
looks like Trump will be shopping for a good lawyer soon: http://www.politicususa.com/2016/10...-smoke-people-corroborate-sexual-assault.html
