People often talk about how all religions are equally bad. That's erroneous thinking, two things belonging to the same abstract category ("religions") doesn't mean that they're identical or that their effects are identical. It's like saying an airplane is identical to a bird because both belong to the "can fly" category. The content of the religion is very important, it influenced the direction in which the mores, laws and culture of its' followers evolved. We can see with our very eyes what Islam has done to Arab countries, it transformed them into authoritarian, backward, joyless cesspits who seem poisonous to human life and happiness itself.

But it is a muslim thing, this sectarian division within islam, the shiite/sunni paradigm. And that is why the saudis hate shiiites more than jews. Or the enemy of my enemy is my friend kind of thing. But it may be only temporary, when it comes to working with israel against the shiites.

It is hard to separate islam from middle eastern culture. For islam has affected culture, and a preexisting culture affected islam, and was probably involved in the creation of islam. So, hard to separate religion and culture over there, IMO.

 

I don't know how it is now, but at least in the 1970s, it was true at that point in history that buddhism had never started a war, as a religion, or philosophy of living. So all religions are not equally bad, as evidenced by buddhism. It seems that the primary culprit for waging war within various religions is this monotheism, as seen in judaism, christianity and islam. Those religions have at some time in their history have fought for God, doing what God wanted done. Of these, the only one left that still does this is islam. And it is a part of Islam to wage war against others, even involving the two islamic sects, against one another.

 

Only force can convince them. And being infidels, the USA is little different than Israel. This war is eventually coming to everyone on earth who doesn't already live in Dar-al-Islam.

 

Why did a hundred and nine Nations throughout history Drive the juice out of their lands? Certainly when something happens to you three or four or more times let alone a hundred and nine you should start some self-reflection.

I'd say Muslims target European Christians more often than Israelis. Europeans, Europe itself, present a much softer target ... plus Europeans are accommodating beforehand, and apologetic afterwards.
