Why do some truly believe Trump is the anti-Christ?

Let’s start out with the obvious. He’s an un un-indicted co conspirator in a crime of misuse of campaign funds. He’s taken two institutions, education and charity, and made them money laundering schemes and shell games. He’s paid fines and restitution to avoid prosecution of each . That’s how rich criminals avoid prosecution. We could go on, but we’d get writer’s cramp doing it.

I'd say that those are disgruntled trump supporters who have finally seen past the bullshit but are still too poorly educated to process reality coherently.
Right-wing fundamentalists are still praying for Armageddon since it has to happen before Jesus returns to save them.
They are free to believe whatever superstition they choose, but they have lost all moral standing ever since they plumped for a degenerate like trump and spend all their time making up excuses for his ignorant demagoguery and attacking others to distract from his deplorable character.

Do you know anyone who actually believes that. Or are you just repeating "what you've heard"?

    Exactly.
These are the same anti abortion types who think pregnant women should go back to work by Easter, or deliver their kids in hospitals filled with virus patients.

Of course. The Rapture is an option in the Christian Bible for those who like to arm up. There are plenty on the hard right who would take this option rather then think for themselves.

I am curious, can a person trigger Armageddon and do if before Jesus reappears or does the second coming have to precede it?
Have seen or heard of the second coming, so am I still safe?

This is a tenet of American Evangelical Christianity, and the modern reinterpretation of the Book of Revelations was authored by Hal Lindsey back in 1970 when he published The Late, Great Planet Earth. While it is not canonical, it certainly cemented apocalyptic thinking for generations since.

The Rapture is not even mentioned in the Bible.

    Good lord...

I've read "The Late, Great Planet Earth" and while no doubt interesting I would hardly call it a substitute or even an augmentation of the Bible.

No, a person cannot trigger it. It happens in Gods timing, no one elses.

There is some theological debate about the end times.

Most common among the people i have been around is that the events go like this.

    1. Christians are taken out of the world.
    2. The anti christ takes over for a set amout of time called the tribulation. Things start out ok but go down hill rapidly and get very bad
    3. Jesus returns raises all His believers and marches on Jerusalem victoriously
    4. Satan and the antichrist are thrown into hell

Something like that. I never studied it much because it's hard enough just keeping my own life in line from day to day.

Well, I'm glad that you did not take it as gospel, it has become for that particular sect of Christianity an accepted part of their mythology. Why do you think Israel turns to these Christians for support and money? The nation of Israel features prominently in the myth and so they capitalize on it.

I have spent a lot of time with people of different belief systems, many not of the Christian, Jewish or Islamic belief system. The beginning and ending stores and the end are always different and fascinating to me. But, I am pretty sure I know where I am going; a Jehovah Witness authority told me.

Well I've gone to Baptist Churches and Church of Christ churches a great deal. And I know lots of people in the Methodist church and I don't recall anyone in these three churches having any kind of special connection to Israel.

Like EVERYONE else who says this....it's only your OPINION.
Neither you nor anyone else has any facts. There are many people who are perfect subjects to be manipulated....because they operate by emotion rather than logic and from facts.

I have never seen Methodist fall for that, but I personally know many Baptists that did....and still do.

    Again....opinions without ANY factual validation.

Look, if he's the anti-Christ, I WANT TO KNOW.......but don't think I'm going to just accept your opinion "because you say so"

You prove my point beyond a shadow of a doubt.
People like you operate purely on an emotional basis.

The man in question was never convicted of pedophilia. He was 20 and she was what, 15 or 16? Again, it's what your emotions WANT to believe.

I would wager a bet that you also were one who sided completely with Ms. Ford during the Kavanaugh hearings.

Right. Except once again, you mistake your opinions for facts. That happens quite often on the Left apparently.

Which of the photos you present as "evidence" proves Donald is a Pedophile?

Again, you see what you WANT to see, to satisfy your emotional needs. Every photo above could be any one of millions of fathers who are proud of their daughters.
You obviously never had a daughter. And if you did, it was a very cold, indifferent strange relationship if you see pedophilia in any of the photos you presented.

Daddies HUG and hold their little girls.....BECAUSE THEY LOVE THEM AND ARE PROUD OF THEM

God help us because there are so many dysfunctional and delusional people in our society today.

Yep! I'm passionate about facts. Wanna challenge me on facts? You're going to have to do much better than a lame ad hominem, I'm afraid.

Be forewarned: there is no such thing as "people like me"

    Who said anything about convicted?

I said facts! Do you have any idea what the word means?

I have no idea who you're talking about. His pedophilia manifested with several victims. One of them was 14 when he was 32. Another one a 16 year old, also when he was in his 30s... and so on.

Anyway.... I don't see much "emotion" on your side for the facts, so...

I sided with the facts that I have a passion for. You have no regards for them, so why should I bother?

“The Rapture—the raising of the Church into heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:17)—is the next event on the prophetic calendar. The following signs indicate that the End Times are near. The Sign of Deception...”

“The Rapture is an end times event where Jesus Christ returns for His Church. According to the Bible, the event will be instantaneous, in the “twinkling of an eye”. While Scripture nowhere encourages us to try to determine the date of Jesus’ return, we are told to keep watch because we don’t know...”
