They are anti-gun, why don't they stop using armed bodyguards? They should put their money where their mouth is and lead by example.
Can anyone find out how many Hollywood libs (actors, producers, etc.) make their money off of films that feature gun violence? I mean, come on. What kind of message is sent by somebody campaigning to save the whales or whatever and then promoting their next shoot-em-up flick? Enjoy!

So, the video does not, in any way, advocate a gun ban, much less show those people demaning a ban while having bodyguards. The link, while showing the use of armed bodyguards by celebrities, does now show any of them advocating a gun ban. My question to the O.P. is rather simple: show an actual example that backs up his outrage. he feigns outrage at the hypocricy of the liberal Hollywood having armed bodyguards while, I am assuming, advocating complete gun bans for anybody else. I assume that, because unless they are doing that, there is no hypocricy. It is not hypocritical or inconsistent for a person to advocate tighter gun controls while employing trained, armed bodyguards. That being said, there is some hypocricy in the video you supplied, when an actor talks about actions being needed to curb gun violence while being paid millions of dollars to portray a part in a gun-laden movie. But that hypocricy is not what the O.P. is blathering about.

I don't see it as hypocrisy. Many liberals who hire bodyguards do not own a firearm themselves. They believe that only the military and law enforcement personnel are the ansolute onely ones who are responsible enough for owning a firearms. With being said, while it may not be hypocrisy, it still is crap.

If you want a real hypocritical piece of trash just take a look at Shannon Watts. She claims she needs to have armed security to protect her from people with guns. Since I am not wealthy enough to afford armed security I am then expected to rely on police to save me since she is so strongly against carry both open and concealed. She claims not to be anti gun, but rather a second amendment supporter wanting gun sense. She freaks out over pictures of teenagers under adult supervision handling firearms with proper trigger and muzzle discipline. She freaks out about it because more children die from guns from cancer, but she can't tell the difference between a toddler being left unsupervised and a teen being supervised. She wants to ban assault weapons but beyond the scary looking semi automatic gun she actually defines an assault weapon as any gun capable of firing more than 10 shots in a minute which rules out everything but muzzle loaders. She claims to be for gun sense but uses ignorance and flat out lies to push her agenda.

Believe it or not, not all of Hollywood is liberal. Even to those that are, should we care if they are leading by example if they have not even said anything about gun control? IMO the only thing we should expect from Hollywood is that they make good movies for America.
