Im not a muslim. I dont believe in imaginary things. And no they arent fighting. The majority of muslims are sitting on their hands as people behead children in the name of islam.

Some news sources do like to suggest that 'Muslims and leftists are trying to ban Christmas', of course. That doesn't mean it's true. It isn't, and it never has been.

It says far more about the agenda of those particular news sources than it does about Muslims and 'leftists', obviously.

 

That simply isnt true. Leftists have been pushing the holiday tree for years. Denying known facts is delusional.

 

What is a 'radical Christian' in the context of a radical Muslim?

 

In the specific context of my post, it's those Christians who are constantly looking to find offence, even where there is none. For example, those who are constantly attacking Muslims for 'trying to ban Christmas' even when they are not.

In a wider context, of course, Christianity is certainly not historically (or even currently) immune from radicalism-inspired violence. It might manifest itself in a way that is less obviously widely-reportable these days, but there are still communities where people get regularly beaten up (or worse) just for being 'the wrong type of Christian'.

The point is that the basic problem is not about any one particular religion, or confined to any one particular religion - it is using misplaced, twisted, radical supposed 'religious' zeal as an excuse to be offended at nothing, or to promote and engage in violence against other people. It's not an issue with people believing any one particular thing, it's about people (a small minority in every case) believing that that gives them the right to attack others (verbally or violently) for believing something different.

 

Wrong context. Try beheheadings, fatwas, jihads, amputations, stonings, having your tongue torn out. That context.

 

Perhaps because these men have lives. When are Americans going to do something about the massacres and shootings that takes place every once and a while in the US? When are Americans going to admit they have a cultural problem and do something about it?

 

How bout forcefully removing fetuses from the wombs of their mothers? Why do Westerns think that Christians don't have the capacity to do great evil? I think it's because they perceive things from the peacefulness and stability of their own countries.

 

Anyone can do evil at any time. Now if you really think that Christians are like radical Muslims, so be it. You have every right to be wrong.

 

No, I believe they have the capacity to be like radical Muslims, perhaps even worse. The cirmcumstances today simply don't allow for it.

We already do. We have police and what we call a justice system. This system has trained individuals who get paid to handle each and every case and they do it very effectively. Last time I checked catholics werent invading towns and beheading children in the name of Christianity. If you behead children here you will either take your own life...be shot by police...be executed or spend the rest of your life behind. None of us including the elderly women allow religious nuts to over run our towns.
