All planets are isolated and we have something others don't - water. Besides, we rank as one of the top ten planets in the universe according to a survey in Other People Magazine, Star Date 2243.

That only holds water (pun intended) if water is a rare resources in the universe. It isn't.

You probably don't consider yourself intelligent and I won't argue with you, it's also very unoriginal and someone will say it every time this subject comes up, but all life is worthy of study, intelligent or otherwise. We have studied everything that walks, crawls, swims, slithers or flys plus that which is microscopic in size.

But with us being so isolated and all , :roflol: we may have the only water around.

I consider myself intelligent enough to understand that the inhabitants of this planet have not done a very good job of stewardship and that with the countless galaxies, common sense dictates that other forms of life have very likely done a much better job of maintaining the ecological well being and peace of the planets that that they inhabit.

Service stations is always a possibility. The far side of the moon is intriguing, I mean as a base to keep an eye on us. So too are the depths of the oceans. Perhaps the ancients knew more than we are giving them credit. I think if any alien species wanted to invade and conquer earth, it wouldn't be as shown in a ton of sci-fi movies. Poisoning of our water supplies or releasing some sort of chemical or biological attack would suffice much more easily and leave all the infrastructure in tact if the alien's are really interested in them.

But they probably wouldn't need them.

We don't. There is more water more easily accessible in comets scattered about the solar system than there ever was on Earth.

You're the one who said there was no intelligent life on earth. Now you're back pedaling?

Some how I doubt that, water being part oxygen which comets lack.

You should really get educated before you make more incredibly ignorant statements like that.

    From wiki:

A comet is an icy small Solar System body that, when passing close to the Sun, heats up and begins to outgas, displaying a visible atmosphere or coma, and sometimes also a tail. These phenomena are due to the effects of solar radiation and the solar wind upon the nucleus of the comet.

What is ice made of again?

I'm not going to play a childish game with you. Obviously, if all people had a high degree of intelligence, the planet and inhabitants would not be facing most of the dilemmas that we are facing. Some of us realize this, but sadly, many do not, so to reiterate... I stated I had enough intelligence to understand this....sorry for you that you do not.

How does one estimate the velocity of an unknown object at a distance of two miles just from obversation?

Free oxygen, oxygen when combined with two hydrogen atoms to form water is a very stable compound and can exist in various forms.

    - - - Updated - - -

Well he says you estimate the size then estimate the distance and I guess estimate the trajectory and bingo you have your answer :clapping:

Apparently you're not familiar with Europa or the 20 or so places we think water exists in our own solar system.

I think they are out there and have been here in the past. Here's just one reason. Humans made or possessed a map of Antarctica before Christ was born and it matches the map that we made in I think it was the 40s or 50s for the first time because the continent is covered in ice. I think it was the Sumerians 4,000 BC. I've done some research no expert but things point in that direction. I can handle the truth. Maybe their planet passes by ours every so many years and brings them closer to ours. Maybe we were slave labor and they were the Gods that made us. Just sayin. I have an open mind. And yes some could be a threat, there is good and bad in all intelligent beings. I don't have 100% belief that they're out there but around 70%.

It's not a matter of how much intelligence but how it is used.

Well it is not too intelligent to not utilize one's potential intelligence for the long term good. In not doing so, one would be displaying a lack of intelligence in a particular area. There are various areas of intelligence...

I think the same about the people of polynesia and Hawaii, and Columbus. I don't think anyone deliberately sails into the unknown, because you need to know 2 things - how much food and fresh water to bring, so you need to know where you're going and how long it'll take to get there.

There have been several presidents who are in favor of full disclosure, but they aren't allowed to see the classified stuff either. Who has the power to refuse a president?

There has only been 3 U.S. Presidents who were aware of all aspects of this issue.

    Truman, Ike and Bush Sr.

A standing President of the United States only has a NEED TO KNOW basis for accessing such data.

Thus if you don't need to know....you are not told.

Earth's Moon has something they would need...H3 which is deposited upon and within the Lunar Surface by our Sun.

H3 would be used in Fusion Reactors and many Apollo Astronauts have come forward to talk about how they saw Alien Mining Facilities on the Dark Side of the Moon.

Also Apollo Astronauts have talked about E.T. craft watching their activities on the Moon.

The amount of Energy would be vast but as we do not fully understand the process of Warping Space-Time...it maybe possible that a small Matter/Antimatter Reaction in our Universal Reality can be accessed in all Universal Realities thus multiplied by an infinite amount.

This would seem to be the manner they travel as to fold Space-Time to any extent that an FTL Jump is possible of say...50 Light Years....would require an unreal amount of generated energy.

So such interstellar Travel is using a system that is outside our single Universal Reality and Space-Time Geometry.
