Why I am not a Christian

If you look at the "concern" column, you will see all kinds of so called "God attributes"....
and they are not unlike those you have assigned to your Christian God.

You are no different than the pagans.

 

The gods in pagan mythology were not holy, just, loving, and righteous. God dying for His creation was the deepest expression of love for His creation.

 

Not really.....God knows he can't die...so

You have to admit that sounds like yet another story made up by humans....
the idea of a parent putting his life on the line for his children. That doesn't really sound
like something an all powerful God would do...especially when you take into account
that children don't appreciate what their parents sacrifice for them anyway.
So why would an omnipotent God do something so silly as pretending to die....for his ungrateful offspring
when he knows they could care less.
