Why is it all the countries Progressives want to emulate are White?

Correction - what right wingers want is a utopia. Consider their similarities to Nazism:

A leading Holocaust historian just seriously compared the US to Nazi Germany
“If the US has someone whom historians will look back on as the gravedigger of American democracy, it is Mitch McConnell.”

    https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/10/5/17940610/trump-hitler-history-historian

Usually, comparisons between Donald Trump’s America and Nazi Germany come from cranks and internet trolls. But a new essay in the New York Review of Books pointing out “troubling similarities” between the 1930s and today is different: It’s written by Christopher Browning, one of America’s most eminent and well-respected historians of the Holocaust. In it, he warns that democracy here is under serious threat, in the way that German democracy was prior to Hitler’s rise — and really could topple altogether.

Browning, a professor emeritus at the University of North Carolina, specializes in the origins and operation of Nazi genocide. His 1992 book Ordinary Men, a close examination of how an otherwise unremarkable German police battalion evolved into an instrument of mass slaughter, is widely seen as one of the defining works on how typical Germans became complicit in Nazi atrocities.

So when Browning makes comparisons between the rise of Hitler and our current historical period, this isn’t some keyboard warrior spouting off. It is one of the most knowledgeable people on Nazism alive using his expertise to sound the alarm as to what he sees as an existential threat to American democracy.

Browning’s essay covers many topics, ranging from Trump’s “America First” foreign policy — a phrase most closely associated with a group of prewar American Nazi sympathizers — to the role of Fox News as a kind of privatized state propaganda office. But the most interesting part of his argument is the comparison between Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Paul von Hindenburg, the German leader who ultimately handed power over to Hitler.

The OP is terribly short sighted (as usual) and fails to understand that nobody is more utopian in his/her outlook than is the average right winger. Progressives are not looking to white or European societies as models to be emulated. On the contrary, as I have conclusively proven before (and, again, the OP has failed to address this adequately in the past), the USA under our Founding Fathers invented social concepts that are used by Europeans and other societies such as Social Security and livable wage (Thomas Paine), infrastructure building (Washington & Hamilton), free public education (Jefferson). Today, anyone who subscribes to these concepts is called a "Marxist" by right wing cynics. But, as the OP knows from reading my past posts, these ideas were all created by the Founders well before Marx was born. Progressives have long called for the implementation of these ideals. Thus, they are not looking to "white societies" as the OP says. They are looking to our Founding Fathers.

Ironically, right wingers in their love for political rigidity and close mindedness are the ones looking to certain white, totalitarian societies such as Nazi Germany. Many scholars have drawn parallels between them and the Nazis as we see above. Thus, as usual, the OP is completely wrong in his ideas about Progressives. The TRUTH is that it is his fellow right wingers who are the ones who best fit the erroneous premise in the thread's theme.

Sure is, but no one is calling our marker due anytime soon. Know why? They can't. China knows this. Just a numbers game.

its prolly more a case of china getting massive interest from american taxpayers. also that figure of 25 could well go up to $100 Trillion when your payments to so called african americans have been honoured.

hours worked per week means nothing when most public servants spend 50% of the time doing very little. also latest figures suggest that 40% of ppl in the corporate world spend only 50% of the time actually working. thats what iheard on the radio dont ask for links lol. the point is, hours worked doesnt mean ppl are actually working, ipersonally know ppl in the construction industry that literally sit around waiting for hours a day to actually get on with the job.

Gassing on about something that is never going to happen just to make yourself feel good IS a waste of time.

Maybe there is something that will never happen in your own country that you could worry about?
