Why is Obamacare Failing?

I have an idea. make health insurance illegal. Force the rich to use exactly the same health care as the poor. That'll solve the problem once and for all.

 

Nothing you leftists hand out is free. One day you will understand that.

 

If that were the case, and our survival rates are still better then government run healthcare you got to wonder how bad that government care is, or how off your figures are. Either way it doesn't help your cause.

 

It's failing because it's a voluntary, market based, REPUBLICAN PLAN. If it was like a single payer, government run system like in Canada, it would be all good. All they had to do was put everyone on Medicare.

It is rather premature to declare it failing, perhaps giving it a year before we judge would be fair.

I don't know if I agree with making insurance completely illegal, but I do maintain that insurance is the problem, not the answer. The reason our costs are high is because insurance companies know that they can have absurd prices (like $25 for an aspirin) and the vast majority of people won't feel the pain, since their insurance covers a vast majority of the cost. If Insurance didn't exist, we would have some of the lowest medical costs on planet Earth, since insurance companies know that people will feel the pain of $25 aspirin, and thus will be forced to lower those prices.

Think of it this way. If you go to Walmart, decently low prices on most things. Now, imagine that 87% of the population has Insurance that pays 90% of your bill at Walmart. Those low prices would vanish overnight, since they will think "I can charge $30 for a box of pencils, and that idiot will only pay $3."

See what I mean?

 

Pay taxes.

And as a result- wars, healthcare, Social Security, Medicare, bloated government that goes beyond the basic principals of it's founding, etc, etc.. There are literally thousands of things that are paid for through taxation, and many I do not support.

Not to say that would not pay for some of them them voluntarily if given the choice, but that is the point. Like the Obamacare fiasco, I am not given the choice.

And for the record, nothing the Democrats do is "free", but neither is anything the Republicans do is free either. That's why I would have no doubt that Republicans would support Romneycare if he was in office and pushing it. Republicans support costly things all of the time. They are no better than Democrats.

 

What's really sad is that the healthcare system that we now have is based on the blueprint that was done by the republicans. So, if the current healthcare law is that bad, maybe we should go to the democrat idea of healthcare and implement single payer.

So, republicans, please, please, please keep saying that Obamacare is destroying our nation. It just gets us closer to single payer!

 

There is absolutely nothing equal about the opportunity. You either have it or you don't. You either come on hard times or you don't. Which eventually all of us come on hard times sooner or later as we get older. There is no connection to that reality and opportunity. They are totally separate. Come on man; it isn't that hard to understand.

They will never make the connection between that freedom part and the connection with the insurance companies and how they control all their freedoms. But it was a slam dunk post on your part anyway. I'm a leftist. I understand it. That's why taxes may need to be raised.

 

I love how the insurance companies are these huge evil corporations until the day you need them and they replace your house or pay for your treatments. I have helped claims adjusters who go to areas ravaged by hurricanes or tornadoes and watched them sit down with people who have lost everything, asked a few questions, fed them, and then cut them a check right there. We see people on the worst day of their lives and do out best to help them and get them back to where they were before these horrible events. There are thousands of employees here in Kansas that work hard every day to insure that our customers have the best and fairest experience you can get. None of us are trying to swindle or take away from the customer more then what is owed for our services and I dare say would refuse to do so if told too. So in conclusion any of you who think that we in the insurance business are just trying to steel money from people should really sit down with some of us and talk about how we really do things.

I've asked this before to the right; how in the world can anyone possibly support such a corrupt, cheating, lying, party such as what the republican party has become? I challenge any republican on this forum to come forward and prove that these two links are false and that anyone affiliated or supports this party can prove what I posted is false. I say no one can. This post will mostly be ignored by the right, because they know there is nothing they can put out there that can dispute the claims being brought forth, and it is too embarrassing to confront. Because the right knows it is all true.

Solyndra - what other investments should Barack Obama make? Has he ever managed an investment company? His best investment GM just came in ARA 10 billion dollar loss and the jobs were cut anyway. Proud?

Obama bad because solyndra have no money left after workers in good businesses gave them 500 million dollars. Just like spectra watt.

Obama is a Saul Alinsky disciple (rules for radicals) . He wants to destroy the system from within. Obamacare is doing just that.
