Why there is no movie about concentration camps under FDR won Oscar?

If there is any movie on that at all?

Because Hollywood is so liberal and progressive, right? And since FDR is such an holy grail of statism, liberalism, government-interventionism, progressivism and... fascism?

I used to think that that Hollywood and liberals were a myth. That was tell last year when I saw Argo vs Zero Dark Thirty. Argo got best picture or some crap and Dark Thirty didn't get anything. I thought Argo was poorly done when compared to Zero.

 

Well what can I say? Argo remind them of the good ol' Carter days...

there were plenty of them in the 50s ...just need to research for older movies..i remember seeing some back then but i could not tell you the names of the movies..

 

He hasn't played a gay guy or an ethnic minority in a movie yet. Until he does, liberal Hollyweird will continue to shun him from that elusive Oscar.

 

I know right? Maybe instead of basing it off of how good a movie was, maybe they should start basing it off of political ideologies. That would show us.

That would be nice. Maybe a good version of Romeo and Juliet as well.

 

The made a "modern retelling" back in the 90's that was high budget and starred Leo. I didn't like it very much, but thats just because I never like the original story to begin with.

I did not like that version either. It was really weird and stupid. But I did like Leo in it.
