What provable observations when it comes to the shape of the earth? Eclipses and the movement of the heavenly bodies was all predictable with a flat earth cosmology. It still is today. The thought that the earth is flat has never died, it just died down.
Have you ever heard of "Vedic Astronomy", or "Zetetic Astronomy"? If you have two different opinions in the scientific community, don't you think it's important to look at all sides before drawing your conclusion? Not doing so indicates a personal and bias "belief"!

I am referring to the people who wrote the work of fiction known as the bible. How can you get confused about that? Kind of my point. The Bible was written by God, through man! If you want to "believe" there is no God, you go right ahead. Personally I will not fall for such ridiculousness, for our heavenly father is in the heart, and it is from here in which I "know" of Him. There is no getting around it, you know just like everybody else, that God does exist. And the pure popularity (cool), is what keeps you from Him, yet pulls you to the fallen one. Your weak, for you cannot even see the temptation that is so easily applied unto you. As you simply deny or reject any notion of God, you undermind your full ability with and of the Spirit. Your full potential can only be reached with the Spirit, the way you think, act, and treat others, is a must change, at the moment you finally find "truth". If someone proved Earth was stationary, and the night sky circled Earth, that would be very compelling evidence a god existed and put us at the center of the universe. But Earth rotates, as Foucault and others proved. Your god hasn't been the same since the telescope was invented.
